The University of Central Florida was founded in 1968 as Florida Technological University and was renamed as the University of Central Florida in 1978. It is one of the largest universities in the United States. Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

The main campus of UCF is located in east Orlando and it expands across an area of 1,415 acres. The campus size is highly impressive with all modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology. Apart from the main campus, UCF has 13 campuses throughout Central Florida. On these campuses, more than 220-degree programmes are offered including the online degree programmes which are offered to students who are interested in distance learning programmes.

University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA Scholarship

Merit-based Scholarship

Merit-based scholarship is offered to freshmen and transfer students at the University of Central Florida. The scholarship is offered to students who have outstanding academic credentials in the previous qualifications. Students who are enrolled in the first year are directly considered for scholarship. They need not fill the application for a scholarship. Transfer students must submit an application for the scholarship. 

Apart from merit-based scholarship, the individual academic department also offers scholarship to meritorious students. Students are encouraged to check the scholarship offered by the department and complete the procedure to avail the scholarship. 

Students can access the UCF’s Scholarship Application System and complete the one-time application to be considered for more than 200 scholarships offered by the university and also access hundreds of external scholarships. Students can create an account on the Access 2 Opportunities (A2O) and apply for scholarship.

Note: International students who hold F1 or F2 student visas are not eligible for any federal student aid. They are only considered for merit-based scholarship offered by department and scholarship offered by external organisations.
