The foundation of the University of Toledo was laid in 1914 when it started granting the first baccalaureate degree programme. In 1920, the university was finally named as Toledo University. COVID-19 Response 

The University of Toledo is committed to follow the safety precautions and guidelines within the campus to avoid the spread of COVID 19. UToledo is conducting random COVID 19 testing of its faculty and staff and it will continue throughout the Fall semester. 

Faculty and staff of  UToledo who are asymptotic are requested to complete the test by filling the webform.

It is mandatory for students and employees of the university to wear a face mask in the campus and practice social distancing. Individuals are asked to maintain a distance of 6 feet. 

The university is also giving equal focus to mental health. They encourage people to talk and communicate so as to avoid stress, nervousness, anxiety or other emotions.
