Villanova University is the oldest Catholic University in Pennsylvania and apart from that it is the only Augustinian University in the United States. It is a private University in Radnor Township. In 1841, two Irish bought 200 acres of land to start a school, which opened in 1842. The University is academically affiliated to ACCU, ASEA NAICU, PCRC, and its religious affiliation are through Roman Catholic. According to the U.S News & World Report of 2018, Villanova University was ranked 46th best National University. It stands at 1st position for more than a decade in Best Masters University Category. Times Higher Education ranks the university at 129th position in the US Rankings 2020.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

Villanova University has 3 campuses, and these are Main campus, West Campus and South Campus. The main campus has all educational centers, Administrative Block, Student center, and all other associate offices. West Campus has a law school residence block for single housing and facilities for sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming. Villanova University provides courses in Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral. Degrees are offered in Liberal Arts, Science, Engineering, Business, and Nursing. Furthermore, Law is also taught in University and various short term courses are also provided and students get certificates for these.

Accomplishments & Alumni

The distinguishing landmark of the 250 acres campus university is the 137-foot Saint Thomas Villanova Church built in the late 19th century. Most notable alumni of Villanova University include GENERAL Anthony Zinni, Toby Keith (singer and songwriter), Kelly Ann Ayotte, she served as United States Senator and also Attorney General for New Hampshire.
