About West Bengal Class 12 Board 2024

WBCHSE is an Indian autonomous body that came into existence in 1975. Each year, more than 8 lakh students appear for the board exams. The West Bengal board has decided to follow the conventional method of conducting the board exams only once. WBCHSE will take board exams annually covering 100% syllabus for Class 12th. The board exams will be conducted in the morning shift starting from 10 a.m. The students appearing for the board exams must reach the examination center at least half an hour before the board examination.

West Bengal Class 12 Result 2024

West Bengal Class 12 Result 2024 will be published in May 2024. West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education will provide the result on the official website. Students can download the result by visiting the activated link available on the WB board’s official website. WB Class 12 Date Sheet 2024 

As mentioned above, the West Bengal Board also releases the West Bengal Class 12 Routine 2024 on the official website. The board exams for West Bengal class 12th are expected to commence on February 16, 2024. The last exam will be conducted on February 29, 2024. Prior to the theory exams, WBCHSE will conduct practical examinations. The information related to exam dates and center will be provided to students in advance. West Bengal Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024

The students can download the WB Board Class Class 12 Exam Pattern 2024 from the official website of the West Bengal board. The questions in the board exams will be focused on more theoretical knowledge and applicative learning. The question paper will be divided into two parts. The first part of the question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions and students will have to solve the MCQ-type questions through the method of an OMR sheet. The next part will be descriptive questions. The question paper consists of a total of 30% MCQ questions in the West Bengal Class 12 board exams in 2024. Rest of the paper includes 70% of the descriptive questions. The question paper will be of 80 marks and 20 marks will be for practicals. The language subjects will be counted for 100 marks.

WB Class 12 Syllabus 2024

WBCHSE provides the admit card to the head of the school. It is expected that the admit card will be released a week or two before the board exams. Once the principals get the admit cards, it becomes their responsibility to further distribute admit cards to students. After receiving the WBCHSE Admit Card 2024, students must get a copy of it. It will be necessary for students to carry the admit card to the exam center. Without the WB HS Admit Card 2024, students will not be provided entry inside the examination center. The admit card includes the roll number, student’s name, exam center, exam code, and instructions that students need to follow inside the examination hall.

After the announcement of board exams, compartment exams are conducted by WBCHSE. Students who failed to pass in one or two subjects can appear for the WB HS compartment exams 2024. The compartment exams are supposed to be conducted in July 2024 by WBCHSE. The WB board will provide the schedule for WB Class 12 Compartment Exams 2024 after the WB HS board result 2024. 

To appear for the compartment exams, students will have to pay the examination fee. WB board will issue separate admit cards for the compartment exams. Students will be able to collect the admit card from schools. After the conduction of exams, the compartment result will be released in August 2024.
