WBCHSE is an Indian autonomous body that came into existence in 1975. Each year, more than 8 lakh students appear for the board exams. The West Bengal board has decided to follow the conventional method of conducting the board exams only once. WBCHSE will take board exams annually covering 100% syllabus for Class 12th. The board exams will be conducted in the morning shift starting from 10 a.m. The students appearing for the board exams must reach the examination center at least half an hour before the board examination.

West Bengal Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025

The students can download the WB Board Class Class 12 Exam Pattern 2025 from the official website of the West Bengal board. The questions in the board exams will be focused on more theoretical knowledge and applicative learning. The question paper will be divided into two parts. The first part of the question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions and students will have to solve the MCQ-type questions through the method of an OMR sheet. The next part will be descriptive questions. The question paper consists of a total of 30% MCQ questions in the West Bengal Class 12 board exams in 2025. Rest of the paper includes 70% of the descriptive questions. The question paper will be of 80 marks and 20 marks will be for practicals. The language subjects will be counted for 100 marks.
