GPAT Tips and Guidelines to follow on Exam Day

There are several other rules outlined for the GPAT 2024 entrance exam to ensure that the exams are conducted without the use of unfair means. Here are some GPAT 2024 tips and guidelines that needed to follow on Examination Day.

  • The candidates shall report two hours before the start of the examination at the Examination Center in order to complete the formalities. The registration desk will be closed 60 minutes before the examination starts.

  • One of the most important documents at the examination centre is the GPAT 2024 admit card. A candidate with no valid Admit Card may not appear for the GPAT entrance exam.

  • In any case, if any candidate is unable to access his / her Admit Card, then he/she will send an email to gpat.nta2019@gmail.com. The candidates must also notice that no Admit Card will be sent by post.

  • Candidates shall keep absolute silence and attend to their Question Papers. Every argument, movement, or interruption in the examination room/hall will be deemed as misbehaviour.

  • Candidates with barred items like Kara, Kirpan, etc. in particular, should report to their respective examination centers one and a half hours before the closing of the gate

  • If an applicant is found by unfair means or by impersonating means, then his / her examination will be revoked & the material will be seized and he/she will be responsible for not taking the examination for a specified period of time as a nature of offence or crime.

  • The candidate will be assigned a seat based on their roll number. Candidates should sit on their assigned seats. And if any candidate is found to have changed his / her room or seat then the candidate examination will be cancelled and no plea will be accepted

  • No candidate without the special permission of the Invigilator or Centre Superintendent may leave his / her seat or the examination/hall until the full time of the examination is over without the special permission of the Center Superintendent or the Invigilator in question.

  • Candidates should not leave the exam room without handing over their rough sheets to the duty invigilator present at the exam room

  • The competent, trained, and skilled Nodal officer and staff at the exam hall will support and help them to clear their doubts and familiarize them with the CBT mode of exams.

  • If any candidates can not take part for any reason in the scheduled entrance exam, NBEMS shall not be responsible for re-testing

Apart from the instructions that have been mentioned above, candidates must ensure that they listen to and abide by the rules and regulations that will be spoken out by the invigilator before the examination starts. It is therefore recommended that the candidates arrive at the exam centre two hours before the start of the entrance exam. Therefore, during the test, the candidates are advised to refrain from using unfair means, which also include talking or passing chits during the examination. Those candidates who find themselves using unfair means during the examination will be disqualified or debarred from the exam.

Dear Student,

Yes! You can pursue M.Pharm admission without GPAT by applying to private universities in India or by taking State-Level Entrance Exams. Some Private universities like GLA University, Mathura, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, G.D. Goenka University offer postgraduate Pharmacy courses to B.Pharm degree holders, and you can find more information on the university or college's official website.
