• Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from any other University except for Gujarat University have to obtain a Provision Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Gujarat University before registration

• SSC Examination (class x) Mark-sheet.
• HSC Examination (class XII) Mark-sheet.
• School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate
• Caste certificate for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) issued by relevant authorities.
• Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) issued by the concerned authorities.

Gujarat University MA Admission Reservation of Seats

Reservation criteria for BA admissions in Gujarat University are mentioned below:

• A student seeking admission based on reservation would need to submit a caste certificate.
• Candidates should note that the caste certificate / certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in creamy layer / EWS certificate would be valid only when and issued by the designated authority.
• Certificate for non-inclusion in creamy layer would be valid for the period of 3 years from the date of issue.
• If a candidate belonging to the reserved category fails to submit the required certificate within the mentioned time frame then their candidature would be considered for admission under the unreserved category.
• If a student of reserved category gets admission on an unreserved seat in order of merits, he/she may be given admission on the unreserved seat according to his/her preference.

The Gujarat University MA admission merit list is released after the conclusion of the online application process on the university's official website. Along with the Gujarat University MA admission merit list, the rank list is released. The candidates can access both by using their Gujarat University MA admission candidate credentials. On the merit list page, the candidates can also see four other options -

• Print Mark 
• Print Application Form 
• Logout 

Gujarat University MA Seat Allotment 2024

The MA programme seat allotment process in Gujarat University and its affiliated colleges is carried out based on the merit list. A tab “Print Provisional Admission Letter and Fees Receipt” is made available for those candidates who have been allocated seats.

• They must download both the letter and fee receipt and carry out the final admission process to confirm their admission into their desired MA specialization offered by their desired college of the university or the university itself.
• Candidates who have not been allocated seats will not see the “Print Provisional Admission Letter and Fees Receipt” tab.
• The candidates, who have been allocated seats, must carry out the remaining admission process steps within the allocated time frame to avoid losing their allocated seats.
