JEE Main Session 2 Exam Centres 2024 has been released by NTAat jeemain.nta.ac.in. The exam will be conducted across 300 cities in India and 26 cities abroad. 30 centers have been removed from Bihar and 3 centers have been added - Kargil (Ladakh), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and Abuja/ Lagos (Nigeria). Apart from these, NTA has also listed Abu Dhabi as one of the JEE Main exam centers following multiple requests from members of the student community.
While filling out the online JEE Main Application form 2024, the candidates have to choose at least three preferred cities from the JEE Mains exam centers list 2024. The test centers are assigned to candidates based on their choices. Applicants can check the JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2024 to know which test center is allotted to them after inputting their application number & date of birth. JEE Main 2024 session 2 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency from April 3, 2024 in two shifts. NTA JEE Main Test Practice Centres
NTA has established around 4000 test practice centres across the country in various institutions and colleges where students can take JEE Main mock test 2024 free. The NTA JEE Main practice centres allow candidates to get used to the test environment through simulated sessions, thus boosting their confidence before the actual examination. JEE Main 2024 parctice test centres are established to create awareness about the CBT exam mode. JEE Main exam is conducted across two sessions in the months of January and April. The JEE Main Shift 1/ Forenoon Session exam takes place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM whereas the JEE Main Shift 2/ Afternoon Session exam takes place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

JEE Main Exam Centres 2024: Documents Required
It is compulsory for the candidates to provide the following items at JEE Main Exam Centres 2024
- Print copy of the JEE Main 2024 Admit Card downloaded from the NTA’s official website
- One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the JEE Main exam centres
- Any of the authorized photo identity proofs: (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph/ Ration Card with photograph/ Clas 12 Board Admit Card with photograph
- PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under the PwD category
Prohibited Items at the JEE Main 2024 Exam Centres
There are some specific things/ objects which are prohibited at the JEE Main exam centres. They have been listed below.
- Handbag, Instrument/ Geometry/ Pencil box, Purse, any type of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material)
- Camera, Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager, Calculator, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Tape Recorder, to wear/carry any type of watch including Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Hall/Room
- Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
- Rough Paper – Candidates are provided with sheets for rough work by the invigilators at the JEE Main exam hall
- Stationary – Candidates are provided with all the required stationery items such as Blue/ Black ballpoint pens at the JEE Main exam centres only.
If any candidate is in possession of any of the above items, his/her candidature will be considered as unfair means and his/her current examination will be canceled & he/she will also be debarred for future examination(s) & the equipment will be seized. Candidates must note that the NTA will not be be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the JEE Main exam centre premises.
JEE Main Exam Day Guidelines 2024
Apart from bringing the JEE Main 2024 required documents there are a number of other important facets which the candidates are required to keep in mind.
- Report at the JEE Main 2024 exam centres at least two hours prior to the commencement of the JEE Main exam in order to complete the frisking and registration formalities before the time.
- The registration desk will be closed 60 minutes prior to the beginning of the JEE Main examination
- Candidates will not be permitted to enter the JEE Main Examination Centres after 8:30 AM in the first shift and after 1:30 PM in the second shift
- Read the instructions on the JEE Main 2024 admit card carefully and adhere to them during the conduct of the JEE Main 2024 examination
- Occupy your seat immediately after the opening of the JEE Main exam hall
- Candidates failing to report in time to the JEE Main exam centre due to any reason i.e. traffic jam, train/bus delay etc., are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the JEE Main exam hall. The NTA shall not be responsible for any delay
- Attendance sheets must be duly signed in the presence of the invigilator.
