JoSAA conducts the counselling procedure for qualified candidates for the JEE Main examination. The JoSAA counselling will be conducted over six rounds. Following is the conclusion, that the CSAB Special Round counselling is conducted to fill up open seats in NIT+System. Only those candidates who have qualified for the JEE Main 2024 exam were eligible for JoSAA counselling 2024 for admission into GFTIs. Candidates must have secured a JEE Advanced 2024 rank for admissions to IITs. Through the JoSAA 2024 counselling, the candidates will be given admission to the B.Tech program at 114 JoSAA participating institutions, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
The JoSAA 2024 seat allotment depends on the opening and closing ranks of the colleges. The candidates must have obtained a rank equal to or more than the opening rank and less than the closing rank for a particular institute for admission. While the opening rank is the minimum required to rank for admission to a particular college, the closing rank is the maximum rank up to which the admission will be accepted for admission.
