LPU B.Tech : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: The four years i spent at LPU changed my life completely. I completed BTech Automobile Engineering from LPU in 2023. The university emphasises on overall personality development of students rather than solely focusing on academic excellence. The excellent placements and gigantic campus are its pros. The substandard faculty level is something which needs upliftment at LPU.

Placement: The university has an impressive placement record for BTech. During my final year, numerous companies came for placements. Students who have a CGPA of more than 6.7 are eligible to sit for placements. Luckly i had and got placed also.

Infrastructure: The 600 acres campus of LPU has everything in it. Right from international food outlets to international size playing fields, you will find everything at LPU campus. Every classroom at the university has air conditioning, projectors etc. The are various student clubs that conducts sports and extra curriular activities at regular intervals.

Faculty: The faculty at Lovely Professional University is very strict and does not allow students to enter class if they are even one minute late. The qualification of faculty is also questionable. There are numerous faculty members that are underqualified.

Overall: Accepted entrance exams at LPU are LPU NEST,JEE MAINS,and CUET. The fee structure at LPU is: ●B.E/B.Tech-provided by 59 Courses-(4.5L-16L) ●B.SC-Providing 42 Courses-(2.4L-11.2L) ●MBA/PGDM-Providing 10 Courses-(1.6L-10L) LPU having more than 300 courses in 55 disciplines at the certificate,diploma, UG,PG and doctoral levels.

Placement: LPU is known to offer robust placement opportunities to its students with 504 students getting a package above INR 5 LPA during the LPU placement 2022.The highest international and domestic package offered during LPU placements 2022 stood at INR 64 LPA. The highest package listed is INR 62.72LPA.The average package is INR 14.97LPA.In 2023, total 2350 students placed in placements about in B.tech.

Infrastructure: LPU is famous for its infrasturcture and the various facilities offered by the university.LPU has a lush green beautiful and unmatchable Campus on the outskirts of jalandhar.The whole Campus is spread over 600 acres consisting of 57 buildings each having eight floors. At LPU we benchmark only against the best institutions around the globe.

Faculty: LPU faculty are experienced and are one of the best faculyy in india.The faculty is friendly while teaching. Teachers are qualified and quite knowledgeable.They are very good,they treat everyone equally Yes,it makes students ready for industry and for competitive exams as well,and the semesters are tough with a pass percentage above 80 percent.

Hostel: Lovely professionl University,Jalandhar hostels are Wi-fi enabled,they have both AC and Non-AC rooms available.All the hostels have basic amenities(facilities) like water purifiers,common room,recreation room,mess, TV,laundry services,full time security and surveillance system, cleaning facilities. Boys hostel shared rooms in campus itself and also for girls shared rooms in campus itself.

Overall: This is a very big university in that area and having all the things maintained and available. Faculties are very knowledgeable and kind. Placement process is so easy.

Overall: While our faculty members bring expertise to the table, there's room for improvement in their teaching methodologies. The course curriculum, although comprehensive, could benefit from a stronger emphasis on practical learning and industry relevance. Nonetheless, semester exams are structured to facilitate student success.

Overall: Our department boasts state of the art infrastructure featuring spacious classrooms well equipped labs and comprehensive library. Despite minor shortcomings in hostel facilities, medical services are readily accessible, prioritizing student well-being. The campus ambiance fosters a conducive environment for learning and growth.
