St. Clair College was founded in 1966 in Ontario with its main campus in Windsor, Ontario. SCC is a Public College for Applied Arts and Technology and is affiliated to the Ontario College Athletic Association, Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association & Canadian Bureau for International Education. The different courses offered by St Clair College are also accredited by different accreditation bodies such as the Diagnostics Medical Sonography course is accredited through Equal - Accreditation Canada. Its effort in providing globally competitive learning opportunities have been recognised by Webometrics, who in 2020 ranked St Clair College as the 113th best college in Canada.

Infrastructure, Campus & Courses

St. Clair College has a suburban location in Windsor with a few more campus locations in Chatham and Downtown. The Western Ontario Institute of Technology and the College of Applied Arts & Technology joined together to form St. Clair College of Applied arts and technology.. The college has recently built Sportsplex, a sports complex, contributing significantly towards the development of Ontario. St Clair College has over 100 programs to offer at different levels in Liberal arts, Sciences, Applied Technology, Health Sciences, Business and IT, Engineering, media & design.

Achievements & Alumni

Over the years, St. Clair College has trained a number of students who have now become successful professionals and leaders in various fields and sectors. Graduates of St. Clair College can be found working as technicians, doctors, healthcare professionals, Sustainable Energy Technicians, Firefighters, Technologists, Early Childhood Educators, Engineers, Journalists and many more around the globe. Athletes from St. Clair College have been praised by the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association for Academics. Additionally, 47 students have received the OCAA All-Academic awards for the 2019 fall semester. Since 1967, the college has been home to many alumni who have made great contributions to the country. Some of them include Marta Stepien, Rick Nicholls, Paul S Morton, Tracey Ramsey, Ray Tanguay, Bryce Sweeting and Henry Lau.

Student Diversity & Visiting Companies

Over 1,100 international students are admitted each year with the choice to choose among many services and support in academics, career counselling & accommodation. Many companies visit the St Clair College career fair to recruit graduates from the college to different positions and roles. Some of the companies that have recruited graduates from SCC include Active Care Management, Aecon Group Inc, Amica Riverside (Windsor), Amico Infrastructure Inc., Canada Revenue Agency, Canadian Executive Search Group, Design Systems Canada Ltd, Douglas Marketing Group, Fortis Construction Group Inc., HUB International, London Health Sciences Centre, PepsiCo Foods Canada, Vista Solutions Inc, and VON Windsor-Essex.
