Apeejay Institute of Design popularly known as AID was established in 1991 by the Industrial House of Apeejay with an aim to make it into a Premier Design Institute of the Country. To nurture and promote Art, Culture, and Design. The mission of AID is to create a global educational community that transcends all the barriers and works together to bring a positive change in society.
The institute has bagged many awards for its outstanding contribution in the field of academics. In the year 2018, it was awarded as the Best Design College in North India for outstanding contribution to Education and Skill Development.
AID offers many professional undergraduates and postgraduate courses in the field of Design. All the courses offered at AID and are recognised by UGC. The courses at AID are well-structured and are follow Choice Based Credit System. Admission to all the courses at the institute is done on the basis of the entrance examination followed by an interview conducted by the institute.
The AID campus has all the facilities that are essential for the Design students. From fully equipped art gallery, to design studios, to sculpture courtyards and a number of design studios, the institute has it all.
