BM Group of Institutions is a private college affiliated to the Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU). The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE), Panchkula. The college has three institutes under its umbrella: BM College of Engineering and Management, BM College of Pharmacy and BM College of Education.

The institute offers courses at three levels: diploma, UG and PG. BM Group of Institutions courses are offered in management, engineering, education and pharmacy streams. The institute offers a total of 17 programmes. The college offers BTech, BPharm,  BBA, BEd courses at UG level, whereas at PG level, the institute offers MTech and MBA courses. BMGI offers admission to diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. BM Group of Institutions admission to UG courses for B.Tech is based on the JEE Main exam and done through the National Testing Agency. BMGI Gurgaon admission to PG courses for MBA is offered based on CAT and for M.Tech is GATE followed by a personal interview. As per the BM Group of Institutions PG admission criteria, 50% of the total seats are filled based on the merit of the qualifying exam, and the remaining seats are filled based on rank in the entrance exam. For BM Group of Institutions admission to the Diploma programme, candidates are shortlisted based on candidates performance in the entrance test and personal interview round.
