To pursue the M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree at Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata, aspiring candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants should have completed their MBBS degree from a recognized medical college and hold a valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council. Additionally, candidates must have completed a one-year rotating internship after their MBBS. Admission to the M.D. program is based on the candidate's performance in the NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) examination, followed by a counseling process conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).
