Bachelor of Technology (BTech)	Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects. Candidates must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 55% in the qualifying exam. Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Engineering courses are eligible to apply for lateral entry admission in BTech course.

Guntur Engineering College, Vijayawada admission process is divided into 2 categories: category A and category B. While admission through category A is solely provided through an entrance exam, admission through category B is done on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam without an entrance exam. GECG Category A Admission Process

70% of the seats will be filled in the convenor quota on the basis of the entrance exam (AP EAMCET for BTech and AP ECET for BTech lateral entry).
Candidates will have to register for the exam and qualify for the same.
The seats will be allotted through the respective exams counselling process.
Candidates will need to submit their documents for verification and pay first-year fees to complete the Guntur Engineering College admission process.

GECG Category B Admission Process

The 30% of the seats will be filled in the Management quota on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination.
Candidates who fill the eligibility criteria must apply for admission in online or offline mode.
Shortlisted candidates will be called to the GECG campus where they will have to submit their documents for verification and pay first-year fees to complete the admission.
