ICFAI Business School Hyderabad is a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, which is declared a deemed-to-be-university under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. Established in the year 1995, IBS Hyderabad is located in Shankarpally Road, Hyderabad. IBS Hyderabad campus is spread over 91 acres of land. It is a residential campus and some of the IBS Hyderabad facilities include classrooms, lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, conference halls, seminar halls, auditorium, library, computer lab, faculty rooms, meeting rooms, administrative offices, academics office, student support services office, and career management centre, to name a few. IBS Hyderabad curriculum includes case-study-based teaching methods and creates an industry interface for its students through guest lectures and seminars, internships, industry visits, leveraging its alumni network, and much more.

IBS Hyderabad offers BBA, MBA and PhD courses. The most popular course of IFCAI Hyderabad is its MBA programme. The MBA programme of IBS Hyderabad is taught and trained through the concept of the Syndicated Learning Programme (SLP). The SLP method involves classroom sessions, group discussions, mock tests, and interviews. ICFAI Business School has collaborated with several institutions globally which include universities from the USA, Australia, and Malaysia. There are around 170 faculty members in the institute and many of them are published in international and national journals. IBS Hyderabad admissions for its MBA and PhD programmes are done through IBSAT. CAT, XAT, GMAT scores are also accepted. 

Coming to IBS Hyderabad placements, as per the 2022 report, a total of 173 recruiters visited the campus to recruit its students and the placement percentage was recorded at 98%. Deloitte Consulting, Capgemini, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, KPMG Global Services, WIPRO Ltd, EY GDS, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc were some of the top recruiters.  

IBS Hyderabad offers a total of 8 courses at UG, PG, doctoral level and three certificate courses. IBS Hyderabad UG course list comprises BBA and BA Economics. IBS Hyderabad offers MBA course at the PG level. At the doctoral level, IBS Hyderabad courses include PhD in Management in full-time and part-time mode; and PhD in Economics. The IBS Hyderabad certificate course includes analytics, data sciences, and general management. Apart from the regular course, IBS Hyderabad offers an MBA programme to working professionals as well in the form of executive MBA and MBA weekend programme. IBS Hyderabad Fees and Course List

IBS Hyderabad admissions for various UG, PG, PhD, and certificate courses are done both on the basis of merit and on the basis of entrance examinations. Admission to IBS Hyderabad BBA and BA Economics courses are done on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in their last qualifying examination and an interview conducted by IBS Hyderabad itself. IBS Hyderabad Executive MBA admissions are done on the basis of academic qualifications and work experience, micro presentation, and personal interview. Similarly, for IBS Hyderabad MBA weekend programme admissions, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their academic qualifications, work experience and Statement of Purpose, and a personal interview. 

For IBS Hyderbad admission in MBA and PhD courses, candidates must apply, appear, and qualify the IBSAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, CAT or XAT. They will then be called to attend the selection process. Candidates final selection will be based on past academic record and performance in GD and personal interview round. 

IBS Hyderabad admission in a two-year full-time MBA programme and four-year PhD ( full-time/part-time) will be done on the basis of IBSAT 2023. IBSAT is a computer-based test with two hours course duration. The exam is conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. Candidates who have attained a valid score in GMAT^TM/CAT/NMAT by GMAC^TM/XAT from 2021 onwards can skip the test. Those who wish to take IBS Hyderabad admission in PhD, if they are IBS Alumni, M.Phil degree holders and UGC NET qualified, they are exempted from appearing in IBSAT 2024.

SAQS Accreditation

IBS-Hyderabad is among the first three B-Schools from South Asia to be SAQS accredited by AMDISA. The South Asia Quality Improvement System (SAQS) has been developed by Association of Management Development Institutes of South Asia (AMDISA) and European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) as a special project under the Asia Link program funded by the European Union. Some more reputed B Schools also have received SAQS accreditation and many more are seeking it.

CRISIL Grading

IBS Hyderabad was among the first B-Schools to be graded by CRISIL with a grade of A** at the national level and A ** at the state level.

As per the ICFAI placement report 2023, IBS Hyderabad achieved 95% placement record in many top national and multi-national companies. The highest CTC recorded for international placements in the IBS Hyderabad placement drive was Rs 58.19 LPA.
