IIT Bombay B.Des Admission 2024: Courses, Fees & Eligibility

IIT Bombay BDes admission is conducted for candidates who want to opt for this bachelor-level design course. For the selection round, IITB conducts the UCEED entrance exam. The exam is scheduled to take place on January 21, 2024 (Sunday) from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. But Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam (UCEED) valid scores are also accepted by other participating and result-sharing colleges. It includes IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIITDM Jabalpur and more. It must be noted that the UCEED score will decide the admission of candidates at IIT Bombay.

Top Colleges Offering Product Design Courses: Product design courses have seen a massive jump from the 3,385 students enrolling in the undergraduate course and 942 degrees granted in the year 2011-12 to 40,586 enrollments and 5,944 degrees being awarded in the year 2020-21. Dear Student, 

Qualifying Integrated Bsc/BA+PG diploma in Animation from WWI, Mumbai will certainly be considered valid for admission into M.Des at IDC, IIT Bombay or the National Institute of Design (NID). Please go through the eligibility criteria for the course, as prescribed by both the institutes.

  • For M.Des at IIT Bombay, you should have scored not less than 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent in the qualifying exam. You must further have a valid score in CEED.

  • For M.Des at the NID, you must have completed graduation of at least 4-year duration in any field from a recognised institute/university in India. You must also have a valid score in NID-DAT.
