Does IEC University, Solan offer BA LLB? If yes, what is the fee structure?

Hi there, I dont have any clue of IEC Solan. Being an LPU faculty I can tell you about law programs of LPU. The Law Department at LPU is one of the first departments that came up when LPU was taking its shape. According to the NIRF ranking, the Law School is ranked 24th. The vision of the school is studying by books is not a rule of Law. The course aims at preparing the students with an interest to pursue legal education with social sciences to benefit society. Creation of well-trained and dedicated professionals in the legal framework. It also aims at nurturing a graduate with in-depth knowledge of different aspects of laws comprising civil, criminal, taxation, and international laws and ensuring conceptual clarity for judicial services aspirants. Law students are prepared to spot legal issues from a set of hypothetical facts and brainstorm various legal consequences, to be perfect legal professionals. The courses are approved by the Bar Council of India. The Career guidance magazine Higher Education Review has recognized Law School at Lovely Professional University among the top-ten most promising institutions of India for its capability of producing next-gen legal professionals. The eligibility criteria for the course is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. For SC ST applicants there is 5 percent relaxation while there is 3 percent relaxation for the OBC candidates. In addition to it, for North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants,) there is 5 percent relaxation. The LPU students were invited by Punjab Police for an internship where they were taught the nuances of investigation. The university has an MOU with NLSIU Bangalore for various academic programs. The highest salary last year was 6.2 LPA and 5.1 LPA was the average salary.

For MBA IT, is there any distance learning course in IEC Solan? If so, what is fee structure?

Dear Student,

IEC University, Solan does not offer distance education. IEC University has applied for approval for distance education to the UGC. 

However, please note that regular courses such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) are being taught through the online learning mode currently as colleges are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can find the MBA in IT course in distance education mode at the IEC Group of Institutions (IEC), Greater Noida. You can also check the following information for more details.

About IEC University

The Indian Education Centre group of institutions campus was established by Vocational Education Foundation Trust in 1999 in Greater Noida. Later, the Indian Education Centre (IEC) University, Solan which is a private university in the state of Himachal Pradesh was established. It was established by 'The IEC University Act' of 2012 by the Himachal Pradesh government. Now, it has been recognised by UGC, Bar Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE, AIU and Architecture Council.

IEC University Solan is located in the foothills of the Shivalik mountains. Solan is called the education hub of Himachal Pradesh for professional education. This university is well connected by road and rail. It is 37 km from Chandigarh and 94 km from Shimla which is the state capital. 

IEC University Solan has a campus size of 14.5 acres which includes state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities for both students and teachers. The facilities include hostels, residential buildings, ATMs and banks, health centres, sports stadiums, gyms, etc.
