The admission process to the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management Sonepat is simple. How to apply for NIFTEM admission 2023?

To apply for any course: 

• Students need to visit the NIFTEM official website 
• Then navigate to the admission option
• From the dropdown, menu select the desired course
• In the top right course click on the application form tab 
• It will take you to the application portal of the college
• Create a new account by clicking on the “New application” 
• Upon that fill the required information in the application along with the course
• Check all the details in the NIFTEM application form before submitting
• Once the application is submitted then the candidate will receive further mail about the eligibility criteria along with the documents the candidate needs to offer.

Key Highlight: There’s an application fee for applying to this institution. The NIFTEM application fee is Rs 1,000 for Unreserved (UR)/OBC/EWS/KM, and Rs 500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. This has to be paid while submitting the form online through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Tentative Dates for MBA Admissions 2023-24

The admission fee of this institution is Rs.1000. Once you are done filling out the entire application form you have to pay the said NIFTEM Admission Fee through either credit card or debit card or net banking.

To be eligible for admission into MBA at NIFTEM candidates must fulfill the following criteria: 

• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree from any stream from a qualified and recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks 
• Exams Accepted: GMAT, CAT, XAT, NMAT, KMAT, AMAT

To get admission into B. Tech candidates must fulfill the following NIFTEM eligibility criteria: 

• Candidate must have a 10+2 degree from the recognized board or council with a minimum marks
• Exams accepted: JEE and other National entrance exams.

To be eligible for NIFTEM M.Tech admission candidates must fulfill the following criteria: 

• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in B.Tech from a qualified and recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks 
• Exams accepted: GATE

To be eligible for NIFTEM admission Ph.D. candidates must fulfill the following criteria: 

• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree and Master’s degree in any stream from a qualified and recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks

NIFTEM MBA Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must note the eligibility criteria, seat availability, selection process and entrance exams required to fulfil the MBA admission process for the academic year 2023-24.

• The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA Programme is Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of SC/ST), or equivalent CGPA.
• There are 30 seats available for the programme.

NIFTEM MBA Selection Process

The selection procedure for the MBA programme is based on the last two years' valid scores of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT and an Internal Test for Non-CAT/ MAT/ CMAT candidates (including candidates not shortlisted through CAT/ MAT/ CMAT). 

The final selection of shortlisted candidates will be made on the basis of GD/ PI, overall academic performance and work experience. 

The pattern of Entrance/ Internal-Test 

• The written test is of 90 minutes conducted for Non-CAT/ MAT/ CMAT applicants and candidates not shortlisted in these mentioned exams. 
• The test consists of 50 objective-type questions of two marks each. Also, there is no negative marking.
