NIT Goa B.Tech admission is to start on June 10, 2024, along with the registration process of JoSAA. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Paper 1 results on April 24, 2024. Candidates can receive their results and scorecards and check their scores by submitting their JEE Main Session 2 application number, pin, and date of birth. The JoSAA cutoff 2024 for admission to B.Tech at NIT Goa is expected to be announced in the form of opening and closing ranks by the second week of June 2024.
National Institute of Technology Goa is the region's leading technological institute. NIT Goa is a 'National Institute of National Importance' founded in 2010 by an act of parliament (NIT Act 2007). NIT Goa accepts students with valid GATE and CCMT scores (centralised counselling for M.Tech admissions). M.Tech CSE/VLSI admission capacities are 25 each, with 23 through CCMT and two through sponsorship; M.Tech PEPS intake capacity is 24, with 22 through CCMT and two through sponsorship. The total number of seats available for M.Tech is 74, with 68 seats filled through CCMT and the remaining 6 seats reserved for sponsored candidates.

The NIT Goa training and placement cell is in charge of meeting the training and placement needs of the institute's outstanding students. NIT Goa cutoff is yet to be released. However, candidates can check the NIT Goa cutoff 2023 for round 6 released by JOSAA. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the programme-wise cutoff for the All India quota, various seat types and gender. The NIT Goa B.Tech cut off 2023 will be declared in a total of 6 rounds of counselling as per the availability of seats. The cutoff is based on ranks secured by students in JEE Main 2023.

National Institute of Technology Library Goa is a living creature with compact features like documents, users, and services. Documents on literature and other subjects are accessible in addition to these essential collections. Eligibility: This NIT Goa scholarship scheme is open to all Goa SC/ ST/ OBC inhabitants who are also studying in the state. To be eligible, the parent's annual income must not exceed Rs 1,50,000 per annum for technical diplomas and equivalent, Non-technical degree courses (i.e., BA, B.Com, and B.Sc), and Rs 1,50,000/- per annum for engineering, medical degree courses and equivalent, and courses like MBA, Nursing, BBA, and so on.
Residents of Goa who are studying in locations outside of the state will not be eligible for the scheme.
Students who wish to pursue professional courses and secure admission to an engineering or medical college/institute under state quota as per State/Central Govt. policy in any other state will be eligible for the scholarship upon submitting the necessary documents/certificate from the appropriate authority.

Scholarships are available for all recognised post-secondary courses in government-authorised schools, except for some identified training courses such as aircraft maintenance engineer's courses, private pilot licence courses, etc.
Scholarships are available to students whose parents' or guardians' total annual income does not exceed Rs 2,50,000. Through the NSP Portal, all students should apply for the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme.

B.Tech Programmes
Computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering are the five engineering departments that offer NIT Goa B.Tech courses.
M.Tech Programmes
Computer science and engineering (CSE), VLSI, and power electronics and power systems (PEPS) are among the M.Tech programmes offered by the institute. The institute accepts students with valid GATE and CCMT scores (centralised counselling for M.Tech admissions).
PhD Programmes
PhD is available in five distinct engineering disciplines at the institute: electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, and mechanical engineering. PhD degrees in physics, chemistry, mathematics, economics, and English are available at the institute.

As part of the Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign, NIT Goa UBA (Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan) cell organised a plastic-free village campaign in the designated community. The institute supported the campaign, which took place in Kalay village. A group of 52 people, including 9 NIT Goa faculty members, 6 non-teaching staff, and the rest students, went to the village to raise awareness. In each home, pamphlets and cloth bags were distributed.
Every member of the institute participated in a significant plastic garbage Shramdaan, where they collected plastic waste. A specific plastic collecting campaign was also held around the institute. The waste was collected and delivered to the panchayat for recycling.
