SRMU Lucknow B.A (Hons) in Economics - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Events are awesome and connectivity is also good. This course is very useful to solve the problems related to softwares and applications. The timing for the exam was 3 hours and it was enough to complete the exam. The question papers were easy as it was taken by madras university.

Placement: good placement for engineering students. Many companies came from near cities and some came from Noida, Bangalore, Lucknow, Kanpur etc. But only I face the problem is less placement came for B.Sc (H) chemistry.

Infrastructure: Good canteen and campus and clean playgrounds. Hostel and bus facilities are available. Campus is green and clean. Only problem that it is situated far from city area. Football ground is there and cricket ground also. It also has table tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc.

Faculty: Very good faculty members. Helping nature. Highly educated but more experienced faculty is needed in chemistry department and others department also. Dean HOD is very strict regarding attendance. Director is also very interesting as he is very friendly but strict at the same time

Hostel: Hostel provide good rooms well furnished and proper maintenance.there are 6 floor in hostel and hostel warden is so good and the food provided in less 4 times and the food quality is good maximum time but some time it's average.

Overall: There is an annual cultural event called Anubhuti. Scholarships are also available. There are so many clubs by which you can participate in extracurricular activities .

Placement: 50% of the students are placed in my course. There are no packages offered in my course. There are no top recruiting companies. If someone does a B.A. in psychology, they will get an internship. BA Hons is also available for English and Sociology .

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good in every department. Every department has its own library; there is also a central library. Wi-Fi facilities are available. The hostel facilities are good, and the food is also good. The medical facilities are good and there is a doctor 24 hours a day. There is also a medical room.

Faculty: Teacher are highly qualified and knowledgeable; they are so helpful. The course curriculum is so relevant. The semester exam is so easy; it is based on a pre-given problem set. The pass percentage is 35% in each subject. There are 3 internal tests held each semester for practice .

Hostel: SRMU usually provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with various room options, including single occupancy, double occupancy, and dormitory-style rooms.The rooms are generally furnished with essential amenities like beds, study tables, chairs, and storage units to meet students' basic needs.Safety and Security:The university often prioritizes the safety and security of its hostel residents by implementing security measures such as CCTV surveillance, security guards, and restricted access to ensure a secure living environment

Overall: Srmu is best if you want to study rather than fooling around. Faculty is very punctual and makes us updated with everything. From co curricular activities to events it has everything

Placement: Placement vise idk much because i am doing ba but as far as ik its okayish in that thing. Highest package of btech is 9 lakh which my friend only got last year. They have mba in business analyst which is very in trend and there are good placements for every course. There are groups made on whatsapp for placement everyday

Infrastructure: University has 5 blocks which are B1,B2,B3,B4,B5 which are for particulae courses. Everything is well organised from presentation rooms to seminar hall to auditorium to academic block giviing every minute detail

Faculty: Faculty is best. Everyone is professional. They know what they are here for and good at what they do. From giving teachers assesment to not being partial and biased to specific student they are best.

Hostel: If you are a girl and you live far away from your home opt for hostel from more than average tasting food to vast menu and good rooms everything. There is canteen too where you all can go if you don't like food from mess

Overall: On an academic basis the college is overall good and even the faculty here of this department is very supportive and also lays emphasis on the extra Co curricular activities and emphasise the student to work hard and prepare for other competitions. There are other other cultural activities and annual event taking place in the college from time to time including Anubhuti and flash mobs and there are various clubs for various activities like Sur Jhankar for singing.

Placement: The placement here is average for Art stream students. To be honest various companies give opportunity even to the humanities students for the same and yes many students even gets placed in the same. The placement department is also supportive and cooperative.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is somewhat ok ,can’t say overall good but it need some improvement at various levels like the renovation of classes and sone other support at ground levels.

Faculty: The faculty here is a lot supportive and they are present even for one-on-one interaction with the student and they are ready to help the the student anytime. The faculty also has the full knowledge about the subject and is updated with the current happenings as well. Overall, the faculty is just 10 on 10.

Hostel: One feels a cozy stay in the hostel as it is one of the safest place for the new students to reside . The warden pays special attention on each and every ward and work for their betterment and asks the wards to follow proper rules and regulations. The food of mess is also ok and hygienic.

Overall: The teachers are understanding and expert in their fields. The canteens in the college are affordable. The college takes proper care of hygiene. I don't think anything else to improve the course. Events and extracurricular activities are also held here.

Placement: Placements are provided to all the students, and it gives a very good experience. Placements help us in future about opportunities we will get to face them. Our college invites the best companies for placements.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and knowledgeable. Our teachers are cooperative and helpful to us. They also conduct extra classes if we have not understood the topics. They give the assignments to provide experience about what questions are going to come in exams.
