SJCE Mysore admission is carried out on basis of KCET 2024 scores for the academic year 2024. The provisional answer key for KCET 2024 has been released on April 29, 2024, at kea.kar.nic.in. The deadline for submitting objections to the answer key is April 30 to May 7, 2024. The final answer key for the KCET 2024 will be displayed on May 10, 2024 (tentative). On May 20, 2024, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will release the KCET 2024 results.
Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering was established in the year 1963 under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha that is the dream child of Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamigalavaru, the 23rd pontiff of Sri Suttur Mutt. It is a private institute which is situated in Mysore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. It has been recognised by UGC and under the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP). It also has been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute has also been accredited NBA (National Board of Accreditation). The motto of the college is “A commitment to Technical Education”. The institution also has a stellar academic reputation, high standards for programmes with a professional focus, and equal proficiency in extracurricular activities, making it a desirable choice for students from across the nation, particularly those residing in rural areas who are interested in engineering seats.
The SJCE Mysore courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 05 courses offered to the candidates in the stream of engineering, science, computer applications and management. These courses are offered in the offline regular mode to the candidates. The SJCE Mysore admission to all the courses is offered on the basis of the candidate's performance in the respective entrance exam as well as the last qualifying exam. COMEDK UGET/KCET (for B.Tech courses), GATE/Karnataka PGCET (for ME/M.Tech courses) and MAT/KMAT/Karnataka PGCET (for MBA & MCA course) are some of the entrance exams that are accepted by the institute for admission.
The SJCE Mysore campus is spread over an area of approximately 117 acres and offers various advantages such as gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking facilities, a full-fledged library, a canteen, and other amenities. To give students the chance to start their professions before even completing their education, the Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering placement cell and the participating recruiters hold placement drives every year. Various activities are held by the institute such as webinars, seminars, pre-placement interviews, training sessions, and others.

SJCE Mysore cutoff 2024 will be released at the time of KCET counselling in June 2024 tentatively. The SJCE Mysore cutoff is released in the form of opening and closing ranks, every year.
