The Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has announced the return of their renowned Finance Festival, 'Episteme'. Episteme is India's largest undergraduate financial festival, organised by the financial and Investment Cell of the Shri Ram College of Commerce. The Episteme' 23 festival will take place on April 26-27, 2023. The three-day event will include competitions and plenary talks on a variety of financial, economic, and geopolitical subjects.
SRCC, which was established in 1926 to provide business education, is approaching its 100th year and is regarded as one of India's greatest commerce colleges. On February 16 and 17, 2023, the School of Contemporary Knowledge System (CKS) of CVV and Shri Ram College of Commerce will host an International Conference titled "New Horizons in Commerce, Finance, and Economics." Workshop on Basic & Advanced Tally with GST was organised by Seminar Committee Shri Ram College of Commerce on January, 13th & 14th 2023.
The goal of the training was to familiarise and arm participants with practical knowledge of the Tally software. The workshop's main goal was to give participants practical Tally training with a particular emphasis on GST. The course sought to close the knowledge gap between academia and industry practice by covering a wide range of topics from basic to advanced Tally, including Cost Centres, Cost Categories & Departments, Inventory Vouchers, and managing GST records using Tally. The workshop aimed to teach the learners practical knowledge through hands-on experience.
Participants had received training on more complex subjects like cost centres, cost categories, and extracting various accounting reports using TallyPrime. To fill the knowledge gap between academic theory and professional practice. To provide first-hand information on how to use TallyPrime for GST analysis, recording, and reporting of financial transactions.
Business Conclave: From February 11 to 13, 2015, GBO students hosted the National Management Festival. Three significant events were held for management students from all throughout the nation. The activities included the strategic case study from Lannister's Game, the marketing plan from MarkeDiCanio, and the national debate competition from Symposium.
Across all three events, there was a resounding response from more than four B-Schools in India, including IIM-A, IIM-B, IIT-B, XLRI, TAPMI, SP Jain, Narsee Monjee, XIM, MICA, NITIE, IIT-D, FMS, DSE, IMT-G, DFC, and Welinkar. The attendees had a positive experience at the events since there was good industry-academia contact.
For the academic year 2023–2025, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is accepting applications for admission to its Post Graduate Diploma programme in Global Business Operations (PGD GBO).
