Surya Engineering College was established in the year 2008 under Sri Andavar Educational and Charitable Trust. The Sri Andavar Educational and Charitable Trust recognised the need for technical education. AICTE, New Delhi has approved Surya Engineering College. The college has an affiliation with Anna University, Chennai.
