What's New at the University of Mysore Admissions 2023?
The University of Mysore admission process for 2023 hasn't started yet. Depending on the applied course, admission to the University of Mysore's programmes is either entrance- or merit-based. For the University of Mysore admission to PG courses, it also administers the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE). The applications for PG 2023-24 admission to LLM and Polymer Science courses are available now.
Candidates may apply for admission to the University of Mysore postgraduate, undergraduate, and diploma programmes. For admission to its undergraduate and graduate programmes, the university holds an entrance exam. Admission to Mysore University postgraduate programmes is based on candidates' performance in the university's entrance test, with the exception of MCA, MBA, M.Tech in Computer Cognition Technology, and M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology. Candidates must appear in the Karnataka PGCET and receive a passing mark sheet in order to be considered for the University of Mysore admission to the MCA, MBA, M.Tech in Computer Science and Technology, and M.Tech in Computer Cognition Technology programmes. Only those who satisfy the University of Mysore eligibility criteria can submit an application for admission to the university. At the UG level, University of Mysore admissions are offered for a diploma course along with B.Arch, B.Plan, BA-LL.B, B.Com-LL.B (5-year integrated course), and B.P.Ed. The minimum requirement for qualifying is 10+2 in the relevant subject area with a cumulative GPA of 45%. On payment of University of Mysore UG application fee of Rs 300, the application form can be completed online. For B.Arch and B.Plan, a passing NATA score is a must; admittance to other programmes is merit-based.

University of Mysore admissions are offered in MA, M.Sc, M.Com, M.P.Ed, M.Li.I.Sc, MSW, M.Ed, & LL.M courses in addition to PG Diplomas in a number of areas at the postgraduate level. A bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45% is required for admission. The grades received in the university-level PGEE are used to determine admission to all of these courses.
The university also provides full-time M.Tech, MS, MBA, MCA, and M.Arch programmes in a variety of fields. A valid PGEE score is required for admission to the MS, M.Tech (Urban & Regional Planning/Material Science), and MBA (General) programmes. University of Mysore admission to the M.Tech (CST/ CCT), MCA, and MBA (Agri-Business) programmes is granted in accordance with KEA regulations. A valid NATA score is required for admission to the M.Arch programme.

At the research level, University of Mysore admissions are offered for PhD and M.Phil programmes in a variety of areas. The minimal requirement for admission is a Master's degree in the important discipline. A round of interviews follows the university-based admission exam for selection. PhD entrance exams are administered once a year in September and October. The three-year admission exam consists of a total of 100 points. To qualify for admission, candidates must receive at least 55 (or 50 for reserved categories) out of a possible 100 points.

Candidates who wish to receive their University of Mysore M.Phil application form by mail must write a letter of request along with a demand draught for INR 300 (plus INR 100 for postage) made payable to "The Finance Officer, University of Mysore, Mysore."
