Yenepoya University was established in the year 2008 in the city of Mangalore. It is a private, deemed-to-be university. Mr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi founded the Islamic Academy of Education, which later became the Yenepoya University Mangalore. • The Yenepoya University application fee for UG and PG courses is Rs 500 and Rs 1000 respectively.
• Applicants must send copies of the needed documents and a DD to pay the Yenepoya University application fee after successfully enrolling through the website.
• Admission is determined by the All India Rank list created by the relevant entrance examination authority. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi, is in charge of the centralised Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which is in charge of allocating seats for admission and managing the centralised online counselling.
• According to the Minority Rules, Yenepoya University allocates 50% of all seats to candidates from the Minority Community.
• The following reservation policies apply 15% NRI, 85% general/management, and 85%. Please take note that 12 out of 13 seats in the MBBS programme are filled by the state.

The Yenepoya University admissions to various medical courses are made based on performance in the important entrance exam, NEET - UG & PG. • Hostel: The Yenepoya University hostel is spacious and well-equipped, with a large dining hall.
