Overall: As I choosed zakir husain delhi college evening for continue my student and complete graduation and in starting I thought my decision is good that I listened to my family and other relative thoughts that zakir husain is a good college but it proved wrong because after taking admission in the college I got to know that the real life college experience is totally different from imaginary college life and even tho the campus of the zakir was really worst as per the comparison of other college of du and if we talk about the faculty they didn't even conduct their language properly on time and the canteen I can't explain how bad was the ccanteen mess food quality so unhygienic and with a bad infrastructure.
Placement: I have completed my graduation from zakir husain delhi evening college and I didn't got any kind of facilities regarding placement and not even for internship , day by day the ranking of zakir husain is going down because not only for program student they don't provide campus placement for other courses student.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure of college as per my opinion it was really bad in conditions as I visited many of the other colleges of delhi university even tho when I took admission in the college the new building was about to open only the inogration was left but my college is ended now and still the building is closed.
Faculty: As per my opinion faculty was ok but some of the professors wasn't good they were not doing their job properly they didn't conduct their lectures on time and always try to show like that they are super busy in college other activities.
Hostel: I can't say anything about the hostel because zakir husain college doesn't have any hostel and it is really bad for the student who came from other state of indian because they have to buy pg Or room and for that they have pay rent too much.
Overall: Their proactive approach enhances student learning, while well-structured exams reflect the effectiveness of teaching methodologies. Productive activities further nurture our personalities.
Placement: there is average 90% placement rate of the college last time the highest package is 84lpa so its give good placement but you should good in communication skill, good in dsa itc, there are 30-40 companies visited
Infrastructure: College have all the necessary facilities and equipments Classrooms are very good with projector screen on classess. Our institution also has auditorium which is small but it is enough.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good. There are no systematic rules and regulations for faculty members. There are rules only for students. My result never got out on time. They are not supportive in all aspects.
Overall: Our college exhibits a dynamic learning environment, fostering intellectual growth and diverse perspectives.the faculty of excellence is evident, providing students with a robust academic foundation. The campus is well maintained and new building is like 5 star hotel. The emphasis on practical skills and real-world application equips students for future challenges.while there is room for improvement in certain administrative processes the overall commitment to continuous enhancement to includes and diversity contributes to a rich cultural tapestry fostering understanding among students.
Placement: Placement of the zakir husain delhi is good . Its average package. At the end of the session lot of companies came to the placement fare .Most of the students give the interview in their best companies what they want
Infrastructure: Our college zakir Husain delhi college infrastructure is well maintained and there is two buildings old buildings which is running all classes are conducted in old buildings and new building is still not inaugurate it seems look like 5 star hotel
Faculty: In zakir husain dekhi college. There is lof od faculty’s in our campus. All faculty is very good and faculty members were very kind helpful even one of our faculty BA program economics all were very good but only one faculty member is not good in 4th semester
Hostel: In south campus of the university of delhi there is no hostel even there is no hostel in zakir husain delhi college .Most of the students came from out delhi and I personally feels like very hard accommodation to pay rent and food delhi is like very expensive.University should take action it.
Overall: Yes,Zakir Husain delhi college is oldest college of DU but the tag given “off campus” sums it up the reputation of the college because everything seems off here and it lacks every modern and basic facility that a students wanted in a college.
Infrastructure: The upgradation of the campus happened long time ago but still pending for inauguration for 2 years and still counting. The old building can termed as “kaam chal raha hai toh chalne do”. The phrase can have an idea about the old building.
Faculty: The faculty in this college is still the oldest one which makes them really underrated as they can see the transition and have aware of the fault in the process. Their teaching not only limits in subjects but expands on daily life also.
Hostel: There is no hostel for Zakir Husain delhi college, but it requires one hostel because majority students are non-delhi residents which makes difficulty specially for girls.
Overall: It's an average infrastructure but yes the canteen area was good. The canteen food was so oily and it's located in old Delhi nearby Loknayak hospital. And yes new building when open, its best infrastructure in Whole DU.
Placement: The placements do take place on the campus, and I've no fair idea about the recent recruits, but the good level of placements do take place everywhere. The big firms do come for the placements and internships every year because the placement cell is active, which engaging the students into that. Since the studies are given priority here, some academicians have been graduated from here. The others included the top officials in government organizations, politicians, actors, academicians, IAS/IPS, etc.
Infrastructure: Average infrastructure but new building will be great it will be open soon. This college is under Delhi University great faculty good infrastructure supportive staff and teachers all major degrees course are available here.
Faculty: College is very nice and spacious. Teaching faculty is good. The canteen and classrooms should have been better especially the benches. Hoping that the new building will be more fascinating.
Hostel: Not available for anyone you have to apply for delhi university hostel for BA student and no near society area for living, have to far away from college.
