BITSAT exam pattern 2024 has been released along with the official notification brochure at bitsadmission.com. As per the latest BITSAT 2024 exam pattern, the exam will be held as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The BITSAT exam 2024 will have 5 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, English, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/Biology. Candidates who are opting for B.Pharm courses, have to attempt Biology paper instead of Maths. BITSAT 2024 will have 130 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). As per the BITSAT marking scheme 2024, for each correct answer, 3 marks will be given. There will be -1 negative marking for each incorrect answer in the BITSAT. BITS Pilani will conduct the BITSAT exam 2024 from May 20 to 24, 2024 for Session 1 and from June 24 to 28, 2024 for Session 2.

All BITSAT 2024 aspirants must be very familiar with the BITSAT 2024 marking scheme/pattern. The marking scheme has been created to filter the best candidates for admission into BITS Institutes. The following points should be kept in mind in order to maximize scoring potential
Candidates can attempt an extra 13 questions once they have completed answering the 130 questions.
Candidates who answer 130 questions before the specified time (180 minutes) will have the option to answer another 12 questions (extra questions). The candidates must note that marks scored for these 12 questions will be evaluated. At the same time, the wrong attempt in any of these questions will fetch a -1 mark per question. While answering these extra questions, the candidates will not be allowed to make changes to previously attempted 150 questions. Candidates can attempt multiple BITSAT 2024 mock test to get familiar with the exam pattern.
Candidates should thoroughly understand the BITSAT 2024 exam pattern and prepare a timetable. The BITSAT 2024 exam paper will include 130 questions and be divided into 5 sections. Applicants will have three hours to finish the full paper. No additional time will be given to applicants to finish the paper. Candidates can attempt any question/section in BITSAT 2024 that they like. They will also be able to go back and change a previously tried question within the three-hour time limit.
