Candidates must visit the official website of BITSAT - www.bitsadmission.com
Click on the link that says - BITSAT Seat Allotment (Seat Iteration)
The candidates will be taken to a new page which will ask them for their BITSAT credentials like the BITSAT application number and password
After entering the requisite credentials, the candidates have to click on the “Submit” button
The candidates will see the seat allotment information displayed on the computer/mobile/tablet screen
The number of seats in the BITSAT 2024 seat allotment will be affected by the following factors -
How many seats there are on the BITSAT campuses
Marks obtained in the 10+2 exam
Seats that are open in each course
Number of candidates who withdrew or did not disclose
Candidate's score in the BITSAT 2024 exam
Seats available following the conclusion of each counselling session
The post-BITSAT seat allotment process requires the candidates to report to the Institute where they have been allocated seats before the last date to do the same gets over. At the Institute, the candidates have to submit the admission fee and get their documents verified for the confirmation of seats allocated to them.

After the conclusion of each round of the BITSAT 2024 seat allotment process, the BITSAT authorities release a waiting list that comprises the names of those candidates who could not secure seats in the preceding round. Candidates whose names appear on the waiting list/s will stand a better chance of being allocated seats in the subsequent round/s of the BITSAT seat allotment process.

BITS Pilani grants direct admission to students who are first-rank holders in their respective board examinations. Candidates who have obtained the first rank in their respective Board examinations in 2024 and have a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB courses in Class 12 are eligible for Direct Admissions to one of the BITS campuses. Candidates must have a minimum of 60% in each of the PCM/PCB subjects in their Class 12th examination. An applicant must be a State or Central Board topper in science to avail direct admission option.
If more than one candidate is designated the first rank holder by a Board, BITS Pilani will admit no more than three candidates through Direct Admission. Tie-breaker criteria will be utilized if there are more than three applicants certified as First rank holders by a Board. These are the rules -
First, the candidate's results in the Mathematics subject in the Class 12th examination are given preference.
If the tie still holds, the candidate's Physics subject scores in the Class 12th examination are taken into account.
If the ties remain, the candidate's Chemistry subject results from the Class 12th test are used to break the tie.
If the tie persists, the Class 10th Mathematics scores are evaluated.
Furthermore, if the tie persists, the Class 10 Science results are evaluated for separation.
The Admission Committee analyzes the aggregate percentage of marks in Class 10 to break any subsequent ties.
