CGPSC Eligibility Criteria 2023

Age Limit for CGPSC 2023

According to CGPSC, the age limit for SSE 2023 is as follows -

For Non-Domicile Candidates (Non-Chhattisgarh Candidates): The minimum age limit for the non-domicile candidates is 21 years while the upper age limit should not be more than 30 years as on January 01 of the recruitment year.

For Domicile Candidates: Candidates who are permanent residents of Chhattisgarh must note that the lower age limit is 21 years and the upper age limit is 35 years.

For SC/ ST/ OBC: SC/ ST/ OBC candidates who are also permanent residents of Chhattisgarh shall get a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit. For these candidates, 40 years is the upper age limit.

Other Age Limit Rules:

• A candidate who comes under the repatriate or displaced category and belongs to SC/ST/OBC category shall get a relaxation of eight years in the maximum or upper age limit.
• Fives-year relaxation in upper age limit for widows.
• Fives years relaxation in upper age limit for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Nationality and Domicile Rules for CGPSC 2023

According to the official notification issued by CGPSC, the nationality and domicile requirements for SSE 2023 are as follows -

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The applicants must note that the permanent residents of Chhattisgarh will have special relaxation with respect to the age limit for CGPSC 2023. Candidates from any state can appear for the CGPSC exam. For other State candidates, no age relaxation is applicable (apart from category-wise relaxation).

CGPSC 2023 Educational Qualification

The educational qualification required for CGPSC 2023 is as follows -

• The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university across the country.
• Candidates who are pursuing a final-year Bachelor’s degree can also register for the CGPSC 2023 exam. Such candidates are eligible for the Prelims exam of SSE. The eligibility for the Mains exam depends on the candidate’s qualifying status at Bachelor’s level. These candidates should pass their Bachelor’s degree by June 2023.

Physical Requirements for CGPSC 2023

Physical requirements are not mandatory for all the posts that fall under Chhattisgarh state service exam 2023. Such parameters are applicable only to specific posts. More details can be checked below -
