Detailed DECE LE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have cleared the Bihar Board Class X exam or any other equivalent exam are eligible to apply for the Qualifying Exam. 

1. Additionally, candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying exam in 2024 can apply provisionally. 
2. The minimum percentage required for eligibility is 35% in the Class 10th exam. 
3. There is no age limit for candidates to apply.
4. Lastly, all candidates must be medically fit to apply.

To be eligible to apply, Indian citizens must meet the following conditions regarding their domicile: 

1. The candidate's parent must be a permanent resident of Bihar. 
2. The parent must have refugee status in the state. 
3. The parent must be employed with the Bihar government. 
4. The parent must be employed with the central government in Bihar. 
5. The candidate's parent must work with the UN and be currently posted in the state.
