Dear student, the MA English aspirants must have studied English as one of the compulsory subjects at the graduation level or must have a bachelor’s degree in English (or an allied discipline) to be eligible for admission. Some institutions accept an entrance exam score while some others accept the previous qualifying exam score of the applicants for admission purpose. In short, if you have not studied English at the ug level or do not have a bachelor’s degree in English or a relevant discipline, you cannot apply for MA English admission in any reputed university/institution offering the programme.
