KCET 2024 exam pattern is prescribed by the Karnataka Examination Authority. KEA will publish the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) on their official website. The OMR sheet is divided into top and bottom portion, the top portion contains the candidate's personal details such as Name, Application Number, Serial number of booklet etc. Candidates need to take utmost care while filling the OMR sheet. The bottom half of the OMR sheet will be used for answering the questions. The instructions will be clearly written on the OMR sheet and candidates must go through them before proceeding to fill the form.
In order to demonstrate their proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Kannada, candidates whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu, or Kodava and who are claiming eligibility for government seats under the Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses must take a Kannada language test. The Kannada Language Examination will take place at the following centres of Bengaluru, Belagavi, Ballary, Bijapura, Mangalore, and Bidar.
The official syllabus of KCET 2024 is set by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for candidates preparing for the examination. The syllabus includes the topics relevant to the entrance exam. According to the KCET 2024 syllabus, there will be three subjects that students have to study - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Candidates must go through the subject-wise topics to prepare for the entrance exam.
