CEE, Kerala prescribes the syllabus of KEAM 2024. The KEAM 2024 question paper is based on the normal class 12 syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The KEAM 2024 syllabus is released by the exam administrators to assist candidates in preparing for the exam. The KEAM syllabus covers all disciplines in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. In addition to the syllabus, applicants should review the KEAM exam pattern 2024 for their preparations.
To prepare for the exam, students must download the KEAM curriculum and mark all of the topics. The KEAM 2024 marking scheme is specified below:
For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidates
For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score
If a candidate marks two options on the OMR sheet, then it will be considered as a wrong answer, and 1 mark will be deducted
No marks will be deducted for unattempted answers
Therefore, the candidates are advised that they should not try to answer if they are not sure about the correct response because the only estimation can be an alternative to wrong answers, which can result in negative marks.

The revised KEAM 2024 exam pattern states that rather than two, from this year there will be a single paper to be conducted in computer-based test mode. A total of 150 questions of 600 marks will be asked where Mathematics comprises 75 questions, Physics will have 45 questions and Chemistry will have 30 questions for the engineering stream. All the questions have to be finished in 180 minutes.
To be eligible for KEAM, candidates must score at least 50% marks in class 10+2 where a relaxation of 5 to 10% is granted to the candidates from reserved categories.
KEAM is an objective exam with questions in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on a and a single response answering method. Each question provides five optional answers, out of which only one is the correct response.
KEAM will be conducted online.
The KEAM exam is scheduled to take place from June 1 to June 9, 2024. The CEE has announced that the KEAM CBT exam will be conducted in two sessions, one from 9 am to 12 pm and the other from 2:30 pm to 5:230 pm. The KEAM 2024 exam will be held exclusively in computer-based test mode for admission to UG engineering courses.
Do I have any breaks during the test?
No, you will not be given any breaks during the test.
From where I can get previous year question papers of KEAM (B.E / B.Tech)?
The previous year KEAM (B.E / B.Tech) question papers are not sold by any organization or from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. However, candidates who have given the entrance test prior also can provide you with the same. Another option is the State Institute of Educational Technology that prepares and sold Engineering/Medical CDs based on the question papers of previous years.
If I will mark any incorrect answer then how much mark will be deducted?
If the answer marked by you is incorrect, then one mark will be deducted from the total score.
