LFAT 2024 Syllabus (Download PDF)

The NTA has provided the LFAT 2024 syllabus on the official website. Please note that admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course at the University of Allahabad is now done on the basis of CUET UG scores. Hence candidates are advised to follow the CUET UG syllabus to prepare for the test.

There are three major sections of the syllabus. To achieve their desired marks, it is recommended that aspirants are familiar with the latest syllabus and accordingly carry on their preparation.

LFAT Syllabus 2024: Sections

LFAT syllabus 2024 has 3 main sections. Candidates have to follow the CUET UG syllabus to prepare for the examination. The preparation for the said entrance examination must be done based on the syllabus to achieve the maximum marks.

The sections include -

  • Section IA (Language) English or Hindi
  • Section II (Domain subjects) Legal Studies
  • Section III (General Test)

LFAT Syllabus 2024: Section IA (Language) English or Hindi

For the LFAT syllabus 2024 for Section IA for Language, candidates have to choose either English or Hindi. The major topics for the Language segment are -

LFAT 2024 Exam Pattern

Here is a quick overview of the LFAT 2024 exam pattern (CUET UG).

Some of the major pointers related to the LFAT exam pattern 2024 are - 

  • The exam will be held in hybrid mode - Pen and paper and Computer Based Test (CBT). Depending on the number of candidates, the authorities will decide the exam mode.
  • The questions will be multiple-choice based.
  • The exam duration will vary depending on the sections. The test will be organised in 2 to 3 shifts per day, as per the number of candidates and the combinations they have taken.

LFAT 2024 Marking Scheme

Take a look at the main points of the LFAT 2024 marking scheme -

  • For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded +5.
  • For incorrect answers, 1 mark will be deducted per answer.
  • No marks will be subtracted for unanswered questions.
