Important Points Regarding MAH B.ED CET 2024 Counselling

Below we have shared some important pointers about the MAH B.ED CET 2024 counselling-

  • E-scrutiny is not a foolproof method of scrutiny. The admitting college will conduct the final scrutiny.
  • Applicants should exercise caution and attention in filling out the right details, uploading the correct documents, and matching the details filled out with the documents uploaded.
  • All timings and events in the schedule are provisional and may be altered based on instructions of the competent authority. All updates will be posted to the CAP site.
  • The Schedule modifications will be marked in colour. Candidates should stay updated on the latest schedule. The deadline for submitting the Caste Validity / Non-Creamy Layer certificate, as applicable to the applicant, will be the deadline for the second round of admission
  • Because seats are limited and applications are numerous, individuals should provide sensible and sufficient college options to secure enrollment in the college of their choice.
  • The Principals / Heads of the admitting colleges will be accountable for the final inspection of the papers and comparing the documents in full along with the uploaded certificates, as well as the finalisation of admissions at their respective colleges.
  • Candidates are recommended to thoroughly read it before filling out the Option Form and providing the alternatives and sequence of options.
  • Before selecting colleges, candidates should research the type (Government / aided / unaided / minority) and nature of the college / division / intake capacity.
  • The options and sequence will influence the candidate's allocation based on his Merit, Category or Candidature type.
  • According to the schedule posted on the Admission Portal, there will be two online rounds of admissions.
  • The candidate who provides Round-I options must know that those options will be valid only for the first round.

MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Admission Guidelines

Below are the major guidelines of the MAH B.Ed CET 2024 admission process -

Admission of Applicants Who Have First Preference College

  • If a student is allocated a seat based on their first preference, the allotment is done, and the candidate must accept the assigned seat by utilising the "Freeze" option.
  • Such an applicant will thereafter be ineligible to participate in the future CAP Round II. Such candidates must pay a one-time seat acceptance cost of Rs 1000 via the "Candidate's Login", and then report to the college for document verification and enrollment confirmation on the allocated seat, as well as pay the college-approved fees.
  • If such a candidate fails to report to the college for seat acceptance after paying the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1000, their claim on the allotted seat will be automatically forfeited, and the seat will become available for fresh assignment in Round II.
  • If such individuals do not seek admission in Round I, the allotment made in Round I will be the last allotment and they will proceed directly to Round III (Institute Level Round).
  • Even if they withdraw their admission to the designated college in Round I, such candidates will not be considered for the next round (Round II).

Admission of the Candidates Who Get Other than First Preference College and wish to Freeze

  • Aspirants can select "Freeze" to confirm their acceptance or "Betterment" to advance to the next phase (Round II).
  • If a candidate chooses "Freeze" but does not wish to confirm admission, they may choose "Betterment" and move to the next phase (Round II).
  • Also, if a student has selected "Betterment" but chooses to "Freeze" and confirm enrollment, they must go to the "Set Seat Acceptance Status" Menu and modify their decision before the final date of admission for Round I, as specified in the schedule.
  • Such adjustments can be made before the current round's admission deadline (Round I)
  • Aspirants who have been assigned seats other than their first preference and wish to take part in Round II must submit a new option form as per the Schedule. Round I options and preferences will not be automatically accepted for the next round. Candidates who do not file and lock the fresh alternatives form for Round II will be disqualified from allocation in Round II.
  • Candidate who has been allotted a seat other than the first priority as per the candidate's preference, and if the applicant is comfortable with such allocation and does not wish to attend further CAP rounds, should go to "Set Seat Acceptance Status" and "Freeze" the offered seat through "Candidate's Login".
  • Once done, they must then pay the seat acceptance charges and proceed for document verification and further formalities at the assigned institution.
  • The allotment made for such a candidate shall be the final allotment. These admitted candidates will not be considered for allocation in the following Round II.
  • Candidates who have been assigned a seat other than their first choice and have "frozen" the allotment and accepted admission in the allotted college but still wish to participate in the next round must cancel their admission before the last date of the First Round and then be qualified to apply for the future round as per the new option form
  • Candidates who have been allotted / allocated a seat other than their first choice and have "frozen" the allotment and are yet to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1000 will be considered unreported.
  • All choices as per the new form provided by the applicant for Round II will be considered for allocation, and their claim on the Round I allotted seat will be automatically forfeited.

Admission of the Candidates who have received college other than First Preference and wish to go for Betterment

  • Individuals who have been assigned seats other than their first choice and wish to go for betterment must select the "Betterment" option in "Set Seat Acceptance Status."
  • Once the candidate picks "Betterment" of the given seat, they must complete seat-acceptance payment.
  • In such a circumstance, the choice allocated in Round I must be entered at the bottom of the Round II option form.
