The Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is a state-level entrance exam administered by the OJEE Cell for admission to B.Pharm, MBA/PGDM, MCA, and M.Tech colleges of Odisha. OJEE exam also conducted admission to Lateral Entry B.Tech and MCA/Lateral Entry MCA programs. After OJEE, a special OJEE exam is held to fill the remaining vacant seats in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

OJEE 2026 Exam

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee conducts the OJEE 2026 exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Odisha. The state-level entrance exam is held annually in an online (CBT) mode. The OJEE exam is generally held in May. Following the completion of the OJEE 2026 exam, the OJEEC conducts a special OJEE or 2nd OJEE exam for admission to vacant seats. Alongside, the OJEEC also releases the OJEE 2026 syllabus, exam pattern, and other information via an official notification. OJEE 2026 registrationis expected to begin in January 2026. The exam organizing committee will release the official OJEE 2026 application form on the website soon. Special OJEE 2026 Application Process

The registration for the special OJEE 2026 exam is expected to start in June 2026. You can access the link for registration from the official exam website. To apply for Special OJEE 2026, you must first register on the official OJEE website by providing the necessary details. Upon successful registration, an application ID will be generated, which students will use to log in and complete the application form. Once the form is filled out, you will be directed to the payment gateway. The application fee for Special OJEE is INR 1,000, payable via debit/credit card or net banking.

OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2026

OJEE eligibility criteria is provided by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee. All students applying for OJEE 2026 exam are required to meet OJEE 2026 eligibility criteria to be able to fill out OJEE 2026 registration form. - Passed 10+2 with subjects including Physics, Mathematics, and any one from Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship (as per AICTE).
- OR Passed a minimum 3-year Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category), subject to seat availability in the First Year if lateral entry vacancies are exhausted.

B.Pharm (4 Years)

- Passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics or Biology.

LE-Tech (3 Years)

- Passed a 3-year Diploma or 2-year (Lateral Entry) Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in any Engineering/Technology branch.
- OR Passed B.Sc. degree with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and 10+2 with Mathematics.
- OR Passed D.Voc in the same/allied sector (B.Sc. students considered after Diploma students).

LE-Pharm (3 Years)

- Passed a diploma in a related Pharmacy program with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category).

MBA (2 Years)

- Passed a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

MCA (2 Years)

- Passed BCA or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent.
- OR Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

M.Tech (2 Years)

- Passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category).

M.Pharm (2 Years)

- Passed Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved category).

Integrated MBA (5 Years)

- Passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category).

Note: Students who have taken and received a rank in JEE Main 2026 (for B.TECH) or OJEE - 2026 (for other courses) are exempt from taking the 2nd / Special OJEE.

Special/ 2nd OJEE 2026 Exam

The Special OJEE exam 2026 is an additional exam conducted for students who miss the regular OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) or want to improve their scores. OJEE Result 2026

OJEE 2026 Counselling Process

If you qualify for the OJEE 2026 exam, you will be eligible to participate in the OJEE 2026 counselling process. The OJEE 2026 Counselling is conducted separately for each course. You must first register for the counselling and then lock in your choices. The counselling cell publishes a list of seats available for institutions based on the merit list and the choices made by you at the time of option entry. OJEE 2026 Counselling registration and choice filling generally begin in June 2026. Those who are shortlisted on the merit list will be invited to participate in the counselling process, which will be conducted online. During the counselling, you will need to select your preferred colleges and courses for seat allocation. You must present the required documents at the allotted institute when you report for admission. Documents to bring for counselling include class 10th & 12th marksheets and passing certificates, registration slip, OJEE exam 2026 Rank card, Passport-sized photograph, Caste, Income and Character certificate. Additionally, you must submit a part-fee payment of INR 500 for the SC/ST/PC categories and INR 1000 for the General category. Along with a letter confirming your seat assignment, you must report to the institution and pay the outstanding balance within the given due dates.

OJEE Cutoff 2026

OJEE cutoff 2026 will be declared after the seat allotments are released. The participating colleges of OJEE 2026 will decide their cutoff scores, which will be published by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination authority. The OJEE 2026 cutoff refers to the minimum marks required from students for admission in the participating institutes of OJEE 2026. It is necessary for you to successfully get placed on the cutoff list to be eligible for further rounds of the selection process.

You will be able to download the OJEE 2026 admit cards from the official website after the completion of the OJEE 2026 registration process. The OJEE 2026 admit card will be available to download from April 2026.

The question paper shall contain 120 questions, which will be divided into two sections. The student are given 2 hours (120 minutes) to solve the OJEE 2026 question paper for MCA and LE MCA.

Is the OJEE 2026 rank card sent via email?

Students must note that the rank card of OJEE 2026 will not be sent via email or post. Applicants are required to download it from the official website by clicking on the OJEE Rank card 2026 download link on the homepage. 

What is the eligibility criteria for MCA course through OJEE 2026?

A student must have cleared bachelor's degree in any stream with a minimum of 3 years of duration with Mathematics as a mandatory subject in 10+2 or graduation level with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category students).

The OJEE round 1 seat allotment is not available at the moment since the OJEEC has postponed the OJEE 2025 seat allotment till July 12, 2025.
