SRM Institute of Science & Technology has commenced the SRM Phase 1 choice filling 2024 at srmist.edu.in. The web options entry process is being conducted from April 30 to May 2, 2024. Through the web options filling, candidates who registered for the counselling will be given the option to exercise their choices and select their preferred SRM campus and course specialization as per merit. The SRMJEEE web options entry will be conducted in three rounds, one after each phase of the SRMJEEE 2024 exam.

Steps to Exercise SRMJEEE Web Options 2024

The SRMJEEE 2024 choice filling is conducted through the Online Admission Portal (OAP) only. Candidates are to log in to the portal and enter their choices. The steps to fill in the web options have been outlined in the table below. Following these steps, candidates can complete the choice filling for SRMJEEE admission.

How to Select Colleges/Courses for SRMJEEE Choice Filling 2024?

There are two things that candidates must take into consideration while selecting the SRM institute and specialization for admission. These are –

• The fee structure of the SRM campuses

• The scholarships offered at the various campuses

Based on these two parameters, students can shortlist the participating institutes in order of preference. Candidates can select the SRM institute and the desired branch from the drop-down list to check the availability of seats. However, those who fail to meet the cutoff rank specified by the institute will be notified of their ineligibility on the screen. In such cases, candidates must go for another combination in order of preference.

Important Instructions Regarding SRMJEEE Choice Filling 2024

While participating in the options entry round, candidates must keep the following instructions in mind –

• Only those candidates with a valid SRMJEEE rank are eligible for the choice-filling process

• Candidates must go through the free structure and the list of SRM scholarships available before selecting the institute

• Candidates will have the option of filling in only one choice, so they must select the institute and branch they want to be admitted to.

• Upon entering the choices, candidates will be able to check whether or not they are eligible for the particular course in the selected institute.

• If a candidate is not eligible for a college/course, they can edit the choice and re-enter the second-most preferred option provided they meet the cutoff criteria.

• Ensure to look up the SRM campus details, course duration, eligibility, scholarships, career prospects, job opportunities etc. before proceeding with the options entry.

• Candidates should mark their choices as per merit rank and admission cutoff. Otherwise, their choices will not be considered.

• The seat allotment result will be based on the SRMJEEE choice filling 2024, rank of the candidate, branch/specialization selected etc.

• The choices once submitted cannot be changed/modified later

SRMJEEE 2024 Seat Allotment

The SRMJEEE 2024 seat allotment order will be published on the Online Admission Portal soon after the options entry process is over. Candidates will be able to check the status of the seat allotment order by logging in with their user ID and password. The allocation of seats will after taking into account the candidate’s rank, choice, and seating capacity. Those who will be assigned a seat in their preferred institute shall have to download the allotment order, pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the respective institute as per the dates specified by the authorities. Candidates failing to report at the allocated institute on or before the last date shall have their seat allotment cancelled and shall have no further claim to allocation.
