Predict NowEvery year, the University of Hyderabad conducts UoH Entrance Exam in order to select the candidates for admission to various courses. The University of Hyderabad will release the provisionally selected candidates after the result declaration. The concerned authorities will shortlist the candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the UoH Entrance Exam.

The UoH Entrance Exam selection process will go through the following steps:
The candidates are required to report to the Deputy Registrar (Academics & Exams) on the prescribed date & time for the counseling process.
After the seat allotment & document verification, the candidate will have to complete all the admission formalities on the same day. Hence, it is advisable for the candidates to obtain the signature of their parent/guardian in the undertakings and keep them ready for submission at the time of admission.
The candidates will have to fill the following form for admission:
a) Checklist (Annexure – I)
b) Affidavit (Anti-Ragging) (Annexure-II)
c) Affidavit (General Discipline) (Annexure-III)
d) Medical Declaration Form. (Annexure-IV)
e) Undertaking by the Candidates Awaiting Results of Qualifying Exams. (Annexure – V)
Further, the candidates will have to complete all the remaining admission formalities.
The candidates will have to submit the following documents at the time of the UoH Entrance Exam Counselling Process:
Mark sheets from Matriculation onwards.
Pass Certificate of the qualifying examination.
Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate.
GATE score card (Wherever applicable).
Latest Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority
Medical Certificate issued by a Civil Surgeon of a Govt. Hospital
Certificate of Competent Authority in case of candidates selected under Migrants of Jammu & Kashmir quota
In case any candidate wants to withdraw or cancel the admission, he/she can fill the Annexure VI form for the same. The refund policy of the same will be according to the prescribed by the University of Hyderabad as per Annexure VI.

Dear student, the MA English aspirants must have studied English as one of the compulsory subjects at the graduation level or must have a bachelor’s degree in English (or an allied discipline) to be eligible for admission. Some institutions accept an entrance exam score while some others accept the previous qualifying exam score of the applicants for admission purpose. In short, if you have not studied English at the ug level or do not have a bachelor’s degree in English or a relevant discipline, you cannot apply for MA English admission in any reputed university/institution offering the programme.
