UPSC IFS 2024 Admit Card

UPSC IFS 2024 Admit Card: The admit card for UPSC IFS Prelims 2024 will be released soon. Candidates can download their UPSC Indian Forest Service admit card 2024 from the official website of UPSC- upsc.gov.in. UPSC issues the admit card for all candidates who applied for the exam. Using their login credentials, candidates can download the admit card from the UPSC’s website. It is an important document to get entry at the exam center of UPSC IFS 2024. The UPSC IFS Preliminary Exam was slated to be held on May 26, 2024, however the same has been postponed. As per the latest announcement by the Union Public Service Commission has postponed the UPSC CSE Prelims, which is also the screening test for the Indian Forest Service Examination to June 16, 2024, to avoid clashing with the General Elections. Candidates who qualify for the UPSC IFS Prelims exam will appear for the UPSC IFS mains exam on November 24, 2024. The admit card will serve as proof of identity for the candidates who will appear in the main examination. The details mentioned on the admit card like the candidate’s name, photograph, roll number, registration number, date and time of examination, etc. mark the importance of the document, which makes it mandatory to be carried into the examination center. Candidates who fail to produce their admit card at the examination center will not be allowed to attend the examination. UPSC uploads the e-admit cards of the candidates on the official website and the candidates need to take out a print of this e-admit card and the same is to be accompanied in each paper of the IFS mains 2024 exam.

Steps to Download UPSC IFS Admit Card 2024

Here are the steps to download the UPSC IFS 2024 Prelims admit card from the official website - 

• First of all, go to the official UPSC website- upsc.gov.in
• Click on the UPSC IFS 2024 Prelims Admit Card link in the What’s new section of the website.
• In the new window, you will have to press the admit card link again.
• A page will open with instructions. Carefully read the instructions issued for candidates, and take a printout, if required. 
• Press on ‘yes’ to indicate that you have read the instructions.
• Choose one of the two options given – Registration number or Roll number.
• Fill your roll number/registration number, date of birth and captcha provided. 
• Submit the information and your hall ticket will appear on the screen.
• Download it and take a print of it.

Candidates need to conform with the below mentioned guidelines on the UPSC IFS 2024 exam day:

• Please report at the exmination centre at least 15 mins before the reporting time to avoid any chaos.
• Candidates need to carry their IFS admit card, along with an official ID and two photographs, while reporting at the examination centre.
• Candidates are advised not to carry any prohibited item like mobile phone, calculator, electronic watch or any other electronic gadget, as mentioned on the admit card. Candidates found in possession of any of the above mentioned item will be debarred from the exam.
• Candidates should wear loose and comfortable clothes to make it convenient for the frisking personnels as well as for themselves.
• Candidates should carry their own water bottles to avoid any inter contact with other candidates.
• Candidates should strictly adhere to the latest advisories released by the government for Covid-19.
