Sir, I was allotted a seat in the UPSEE first round counseling, but I had to float it. Now for the second round, I am allotted a second seat. I have to float again So will my first seat cancel? Or it will be the seat I chose for the second time?

Dear Student,

For the UPSEE Counselling, the seat which has a higher ranking will be allotted to you. That means if the seat allotted to you in the second round has a higher ranking than the first round, it will be allotted to you and vice versa. If you are satisfied with the allotted seat, you can pay the acceptance fee or go for the float option if you still want to participate in the third round of counseling.

Dear Student,

Yes, you don't need to lock your choices again if you have already done it for the first round of UPSEE Counselling. However, if you have made some changes to your choices after the first round, then you need to lock your choices again. For this, you can visit the official website or read UPSEE Counselling 2020 which will help you through the process in detail.
