WBJEE Application Form 2024

WBJEEB conducted the the WBJEE 2024 application form correction process at wbjeeb.nic.in from February 7 to 9, 2024. WBJEE application form 2024 last date was February 5. The application process for WBJEE exam comprises multiple steps, such as online registration, form filling, document uploading, and fee payment. Candidates who complete the WBJEE 2024 registration process successfully before the deadline are permitted to for the entrance examination. WBJEE exam 2024 will be held on April 28, 2024.

WBJEE Login 2024

WBJEEB generates a unique WBJEE login ID for all candidates after successful registration. Candidates are instructed to note the WBJEE login credentials - WBJEE application number and password or DOB for future reference. Going forward, all communications regarding the WBJEE exam and related events will be made through WBJEE official website, for which candidates will need to provide the login ID and password created for them.

Documents Required for WBJEE 2024 Registration

Candidates must keep a set of all the necessary documents, educational qualifications and certificates ready before WBJEE application form 2024 apply online. How to Fill WBJEE Application Form 2024?

The WBJEE 2024 Application Form was available at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates could only fill out the application form in online mode. WBJEEB does not allow any other mode of application submission. Steps to Fill Out WBJEE 2024 Application Form

​Candidates could follow the steps mentioned below to register, fill out and submit the application form for WBJEE 2024. 

Step 1 - WBJEE 2024 Registration Online

• To fill out the online application form, candidates must visit the WBJEE official website i.e. www.wbjeeb.nic.in 2024

• Click on the ‘New Registration’ link on the homepage

• Provide registration details such as name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, email address etc. 

• Fill up academic details and information related to income, nationality, address, choice of exam centres, religion etc.

• Next, they must choose a security Question/Answer to generate a password

• If all provided information is correct, then candidates can continue with the WBJEE application form and click on the 'Submit' button

• After generating the application/registration number, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate

• Candidates can click on the tab indicating 'Continue to Next Step'.

Step 2 - Application Form Fill-Up

• Once registered, candidates must use the WBJEE login password and application number to sign in

• Key in all the details regarding academic qualification, marks obtained in the qualifying examination etc. 

• Candidates can choose up to three WBJEE exam centres 2024 for the entrance test

Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Documents

• Candidates must upload a recently taken scanned photograph and signature along with their left-hand thumb impression in the next step

• The photograph/signature/thumb impression must be uploaded as per the specifications given in the WBJEE information bulletin 2024.

Step 4 - Payment of WBJEE 2024 Registration Fees

• After document uploading, candidates are required to pay the WBJEE 2024 application fee of INR 500 (plus bank service charges). Note that the application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Candidates can pay the application fee online through net banking/credit card/debit card. Alternatively, they can make the payment in offline mode by using the bank challan at any branch of Allahabad Bank. 

Step 5 - Submission of Application Form and Printing of Confirmation Page

• After completing all the above steps, candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page, which signifies the completion of the online submission of the application for WBJEE 2024.

• Save it on the system as proof of the completed application form.

• The confirmation page cannot be regenerated at a later stage. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the candidate to secure it safely.

WBJEE Application Form 2024 - Important Instructions

Please note the following important instructions for WBJEE registration -

• Candidates must upload their images and signatures as per the specifications provided by the authorities. If a candidate receives an SMS regarding a discrepancy with their application form image, they must take immediate action to rectify it.

• To register for WBJEE 2024, applicants must have a unique email ID and a valid mobile number. 

• Once the WBJEE registration details are submitted, candidates will not have the provision to go back and edit the application form. Therefore, they must ensure that all the information is accurate and their registration is complete before the WBJEE application form 2024 last date.

• Candidates are advised to keep their WBJEE registration private

WBJEE Application Form 2024 - Specifications for Uploading Photograph/Signature

While uploading photographs and signatures in the WBJEE 2024 registration form, candidates must ensure that the documents submitted are in the prescribed format and size. If the uploaded documents do not match the recommended size dimensions, the candidate’s application form shall be rejected. Important Instructions about WBJEE 2024 Photograph and Signature

• The photograph should be taken on or after 1st December, 2023

• The image should not be blurred

• The candidate should keep the same Image/photograph for future use like counselling, admission etc.​

WBJEE 2024 Application Fee

For General Male Candidates, the WBJEE registration fee is INR 500. For General Female and All Male Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW categories, the application fee is INR 400. For Third Gender Candidates and All Female Candidates of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/TFW category, the application fee is INR 300.

WBJEE 2024 Application Fee Mode

The application fee for WBJEE can be paid through debit/credit card or net banking. After the successful payment of the application fee, an online receipt will be automatically generated. Please ensure that you keep this receipt safe as it will be required at the time of WBJEE 2024 counselling and admissions. The receipt is also proof that you have successfully paid the WBJEE 2204 application fee registered to appear for the West Bengal JEE exam.

WBJEE 2024 Application Form Correction Window

WBJEEB has opened the WBJEE 2024 application form correction window at wbjeeb.nic.in 2024. The link to correct errors in the existing WBJEE registration form 2024 will be active for a specific period. During this time, candidates who might have made a mistake at the time of form fill-up or document uploading can edit or rectify them. However, applicants must note that not all the fields are open for correction. They must crosscheck the official brochure to know which details can be corrected or edited. Once the WBJEE application form correction window closes, no further changes shall be permitted. 

How to Edit WBJEE Application Form 2024?

Candidates can find out the steps to make corrections in the WBJEE 2024 application form below -

• Candidates will have to visit www.wbjeeb.nic.in 2024, which is the WBJEE official website.

• Log in using the WBJEE Application Number and Password

• Click on the ‘WBJEE 2024 Application Form Correction’ link

• Correct or edit the required information in the form (edit Category, Domicile, PwD status, re-upload or resize photograph/signature etc.)

• Once you have made the changes, save and submit the registration form.

WBJEE 2024 Application Form Image Discrepancy

If the image uploaded in your WBJEE registration form 2024 is not clear or aligned with the WBJEEB guidelines, you will have to resize and reupload the same for successful submission. To fix the issue of WBJEE 2024 application form image discrepancy, the following steps need to be followed -

• Go to the official website of WBJEEB - www.wbjeeb.nic.in 2024

• Click on the link saying ‘Remove Image Discrepancy in Photograph and Signature’

• Enter WBJEE Application Number, Password and Security Pin

• Go to the relevant field and remove the image with discrepancy

• Select the image as per specifications and scan it to 300 dpi

• Crop the scanned image to fit the size of the photograph

• Next, resize the image to ‘Email Small’.

• Finally, ‘Save’ and upload the image

• In the candidate login, click on the ‘Forgot Application Number’ link

• Enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and security pin.

• Click on the ‘Get Application Number’ button

• You will receive your WBJEE application number on your registered email and mobile number

Steps to Retrieve WBJEE 2024 Password

If you forget your WBJEE login password, you can reset it by following these steps -

• Visit the WBJEEE 2024 official website and click on the login window link

• In the candidate login, click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link

• Choose one of the three options available to reset your password, which are:

  1. Use the security question and answer you chose during form filling

  2. Use a verification code sent via SMS to your registered mobile number

  3. Use a reset link sent via email to your registered email address

• Enter the required details and reset your WBJEE login password

WBJEE Admit Card 2024

WBJEE admit card 2024 has been released on April 18, 2024. After registering successfully for WBJEE 2024, candidates can download their admit card from the official website. To access the WBJEE 2024 admit card, candidates must log in using their required credentials. The admit card contains important information such as the exam centre, date, timings, and other details. It is mandatory to carry the WBJEE Admit Card 2024 along with a valid identity proof while reporting to the exam centre. Candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination if they fail to present the admit card and identity proof.
