ICSE Class 10 Compartment Exam 2024: CISCE has made major changes to the compartment exam policy. In a meeting conducted on December 7, 2023, the board decided to discontinue the compartment exams from the 2024 examination. Instead of compartment exams, ICSE is going to introduce a re-evaluation process of answer scripts in addition to the existing rechecking process. The students will be able to apply for re-checking from May 06 to May 10, 2024. As per the National Education Policy 2020, the board will only allow students to sit for improvement exams in two subjects. The improvement exams will be conducted in July 2024.

Students will be provided with the option to get the answer scripts re-evaluated besides the rechecking of exams. The request for re-evaluation can be made only within 4 days from the declaration of the result. For rechecking, students will have to pay a fee of Rs. 1000 per subject. In the rechecking, following points will be considered:

• If all answers are marked
• Continuation sheets attached to the answer script
• If there is a mistake in totalling of marks in each subject and transferring marks correctly on the first page.

• May 06, 2024: ICSE 10th Result 2024 will be released on May 06, 2024 at 11:00 am. Students can check result online.

ICSE Class 10 Re-evaluation 2024

The students who remain unsatisfied with the rechecking result can apply for the re-evaluation of the answer scripts.The result for re-evaluation will be announced within four weeks. The board will release the result on the official website. For re-evaluation, students will have to make a payment of Rs. 1500 per subject. The fee will have to be paid online and it will be non-refundable. The Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE will hire a qualified professional for the re-evaluation of the answer scripts. After the completion of re-evaluation, the marks obtained by students will be considered final.

If they are unable to get the passing marks, they can appear for improvement exams. Students will only be allowed to appear for improvement exams of two subjects. They will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 per subject for improvement exams. 

Who is eligible for ICSE Improvement Exams?

Students who appear for the ICSE board exams are eligible to appear for the ICSE Improvement Exams. They should score any one of the following result:

PCA - Pass Certificate Awarded

PCNA - Pass Certificate not Awarded

SPCA - Supplementary Pass Certificate Awarded

SPCNA - Supplementary Pass Certificate not Awarded

Note: Students who were marked Absent during the board exams will not be allowed to appear for the Improvement exams.

The passing certificate will be issued to students after the result of the re-evaluation is announced. The students will also be able to check the result on DigiLocker.

How to Download ICSE Class 10 Improvement Exam Time Table 2024?

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) uploads the ICSE Class 10 Time Table on its official website. The ways to download the ICSE Improvement exam schedule 2024 are as follows:

• Step 1: Go to cisce.org, the CISCE's official website.
• Step 2: Locate the "Notice Board" area by scrolling down the home page.
• Step 3: Select the ICSE Improvement timetable link in the "Notice Board" section.
• Step 4: Download the ICSE Improvement schedule and save it for later use. 

ICSE Class 10 Improvement Exam Registration Form 2024

The registrations for the ICSE 10th Improvement Exam 2024 will be in June 2024. Students will have to apply for the ICSE 10th improvement application form online on the portal. The ICSE improvement examination application process is handled by school administrations on behalf of its students. All applicants who desire to take the exam must do so within the board's allotted time frame.

How to Apply for ICSE Improvement Exams 2024?

Below are the steps for school authorities to apply for the ICSE Improvement exam 2024:

• Step 1: Go to the board's official website, cisce.org.
• Step 2: From the main menu on the home page, select "Services."
• Step 3: School administrators must log in using their registered email address and password to the CISCE service site.
• Step 4: After logging in, provide each applicant with the information they need to complete the ICSE Improvement application form.
• Step 5: After giving the required information, move on to the payment section to finish the procedure.
• Step 6: To be used later, save and print the completed ICSE Improvement application form. 

ICSE Class 10 Improvement Exam 2024 Admit Card

In July 2024, ICSE distributed the ICSE class 10th Improvement admit card. To enter the test room, candidates must have their ICSE Improvement admit card with them. Candidates will not be permitted to show up for the exams without the ICSE Improvement admit card 2024. The candidate's name, school name, registration number, examination center code, topic name, and subject code are all included in the admit card. The admissions cards for students are available at their individual schools. The processes below should be followed by school administrators in order to download the admit card.

• Step 1: Go to cisce.org, the CISCE's official website.
• Step 2: Find the "Notice Board" area by scrolling down, looking for the announcement regarding the ICSE Improvement admission card, and clicking on it.
• Step 3: To download the ICSE Improvement admission card, enter the "Register Number" or "Roll Number".
• Step 4: A new tab will pop up with the ICSE Improvement admit card file.
• Step 5: Save the admit card and print it out for later usage.
