Under the new system, students will no longer have the option of a supplementary exam. Instead, they can take up the second and third annual exams to improve their marks if they are not satisfied with their performance in the first exam.

Regular students are required to appear for Exam 1, while repeater and private candidates can take Exam 2 and Exam 3.
