Karnataka 2nd PUC Marking Scheme 2025

KSEAB has released an updated marking scheme for the 2nd PUC Board Exams. Under the new scheme, 20 marks will be allotted for internal examination in subjects that do not have a practical exam. 20 marks will be considered by the teachers to evaluate the students based on their performance in the academic year out of which 10 marks will be given for internal evaluation based on 1st, and 2nd unit tests and mid-term exams. The best of the two marks from these examinations will be averaged to 10 points. The remaining 10 points will be given based on project and assignment marks at the college level. 

In assignment and project, 5 marks will be given for projects and writing, three marks will be given for presentation and two marks will be given for viva. The 20-mark Internal marking scheme will be applicable for core subjects like Mathematics, Business Studies, Economics, Languages, and other course subjects. 30 marks will be allotted for the practical session for subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electronics, Computer Science, Home Science, Carnatic music, and Hindustani music, and national skills qualification framework subjects like IT, Automobile, Retail, Beauty, and Wellness. Students who are repeaters and registered as private candidates will have to answer a 100-mark question paper and this framework will not apply to them.
