Maharashtra Board SSC Exam Pattern 2024: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has issued the detailed subject-wise exam pattern. The class 10 board exams will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode. Students are required to appear for 6 compulsory subjects to get the passing certificate. These subjects are English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science along with two other language papers. Students can choose the language papers based on their preference. Each paper will be conducted for 3 hours. Each paper will be divided into theory and practical sections. Practical papers will be conducted for 20 marks followed by theory paper for 80 marks. The question papers will include MCQs, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions, and long answer type questions. There will be no negative marking included in the checking. 

The Maharashtra SSC Board 2024 is going to conduct the board exams from February 21 to March 19, 2024. Students can go through the exam pattern for the Maharashtra board before going to sit for the board exams. The optional subject paper for Maharashtra 10th Board 2024 will be conducted for a total of 3 hours duration. The candidates can choose any two papers as per their choice. The choice of subjects for language consists of Modern Indian Languages, Classical Languages, and Modern Foreign Languages. The paper will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.

Maharashtra Board SSC Grading System

Maharashtra has introduced a grading system for class 10th which will be implemented on each subject. The grades will be provided to the candidates based on marks obtained in the board exam following a 9-point grading system. Grades will be awarded in each scholastic subject. For awarding the grades, the Board will put all the passed students in rank order and will award the grades as follows:
