The rank in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is calculated based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam, and their performance in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology papers in KCET. The final ranking is based on the total score obtained after considering the entrance exam scores and the qualifying exam marks. In case of a tie, preference is given to candidates with higher scores in Mathematics/Biology, followed by Physics, and then by the age of the candidate, with older candidates being given preference. Discrepancies in KCET results 2024 must be raised to the authorities immediately.
