RRB NTPC Typing Test 2022 for Shift 1 has been cancelled. The re-examination is going to be held shortly and the new dates will be announced soon.

 

RRB NTPC Typing Test 2022 for Shift 1 Cancelled: Re-Exam to be Held Shortly

RRB NTPC Typing Test 2022 for Shift 1 has been cancelled. It was supposed to be held on August 12, and the cancellation has been done due to technical issues. The re-examination for the RRB NTPC Typing Test 2022 for the candidates who were present and also attended the first shift will be held shortly. The authorities are going to notify candidates about the date and time of the re-examination very soon. The typing test for other shifts is going to be held as per schedule. 

RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test Pattern for 2022

This typing test is held online where the candidates are needed to type a minimum of 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi. There are three parts of the test- one minute for warming up and familiarising oneself with the keyboard, followed by a break of 30 seconds, and a typing test of 10 minutes which will be counted for evaluation. As per the option chosen by candidates, one has to type either in Hindi or English. If no choice is exercised, then the default language will be English. Candidates who have chosen Hindi for the typing test must familiarise themselves with the use of Krutidev or Mangal font. The test duration is 10 minutes. And the minimum speed should be at least 30 words per minute for candidates typing in English and for candidates typing in Hindi, it must be at least 25 words per minute. 

Evaluating the RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test

The mistakes in the typing test will be divided into full mistakes and half mistakes. A total of 5% mistakes of the total words typed will be ignored. The total mistakes are going to be calculated as the following:

  • No. of full mistakes+ No. of half mistakes/2 = Total Mistakes
  • Number of mistakes - 5% of the total number of words typed= Final mistake count
