With this announcement, the anticipation between thousands of teaching aspirants has increased. The applicants have started the preparations for registration. The national-level entrance examination is held twice a year to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship posts in all central universities and associated colleges.
UGC NET June 2024 Registration to Begin in April 2024: UGC Chairman
In a brief press conference, UGC Chairman said that all necessary preparations to start the UGC NET registration process are completed. The online application form is expected to be released on the official website- ugnet.nta.ac.in on any day in the first week of April 2024.
The detailed notification for UGC NET June 2024 session will be shared along with the online application form. Around 9.45 lakh candidates registered for this prestigious entrance exam last year in UGC NET 2023 examination. Out of these around 6.95 lac candidates appeared on the exam day. The exam was conducted across 292 cities in the country between December 6 to 14, 2023. However, for this year, the exam for the June session is expected to be conducted between June 10 to 21, 2024.
