UPSC CSE Application Form 2024: The Union Public Service Commission is inviting online applications for UPSC CSE 2024 registrations on its official website from February 14, 2024, onwards. The commission has introduced a number of changes this year as shared in the details UPSC CSE Prelims Notification 2024. All civil aspirants can apply online on the website upsc.gov.in before the deadline of March 5. The candidates must follow the changes announced by the commission for UPSC CSE 2024 registration process which will help them to complete their application process.

UPSC CSE Application Form 2024: Changes Introduced

The candidates can check the list of major changes that UPSC has introduced in this year’s application process mentioned below:

• Recent Photograph: As per the latest announcement, no passport-size photo older than 10 days must be uploaded by the candidate in his/her application form. Earlier, the commission used to allow pictures up to three months of date in their forms. Moreover, the name of the candidate must be mentioned on the picture that is being uploaded

• The commission has asked the applicants to ensure that their appearance remains the same as the image in all stages of recruitment. For example, if a candidate has uploaded his/her image in a beard, he has to keep in a beard during the entire process of recruitment until the interview (if eligible)

• The file size of the candidate’s signature and passport-size photograph has to be kept between 20 kb to 300 Kb only. The candidate must keep the images strictly in JPEG formats only

UPSC has announced a total of 1056 vacancies to be filled in this year’s civil services exam 2024. The last date to apply online is March 5, 2024, and UPSC CSE Prelims exam date 2024 is May 26 for all category applicants.
