- NIOS has divided Class 12 subjects into six distinct groups i.e. Group A, B, C, D, E, and F.
- Group A includes Language subjects, whereas science, humanities, commerce, and other subjects are in different groups.
- When applying for NIOS admission 2023-24, all students have to choose at least 5 subjects in total.
- Students have to choose one language from Group A, and the other subjects from any other group.
